I usually don’t do reviews like this but my interaction with one of the workers there compelled me to do so.
I placed a mobile order online, 11:15pm — one medium roasted hazelnut cold brew with espresso cold foam, in hopes of getting it quickly so I can head to out to grab my family from the airport (because driving at this hour of the night definitely requires coffee).
I arrive at the order taking station, the worker stated they did not receive it and immediately stated to meet her at the window. Once I got there, she was doubting that I had the wrong location, in which I explained to her that I made sure this was the correct location — prior to her double checking on my phone. She stated that “you made this order at 11:15pm, it’s too late, we didn’t get the order.” I asked if she can make me the drink and she glared at me and quickly responded “no, we are out of hazelnut syrup.” She did not offer to make a different drink (which could have easily been a solution I’d be happy with) but instead she told me to “you can figure it out online for the refund” and quickly shut the window shut after saying “yeah, there’s customers waiting.”
I honestly didn’t have time to react due to how fast she dismissed me. The service I received was very disappointing and I don’t think I will return to this location again.
Luckily, I did reach out to the online customer service right away and they gave me 800 points within the hour, saving this review from being a 1 star.
I would recommend trying another location and/or be cautious when ordering online through the app if you do decide to go to this location.
Hoping they will treat future customers with kindness and try to resolve problems properly instead of how they dealt with me that evening. And if you do not take mobile orders after a certain time, please reflect it on your app to prevent these issues from...
Read moreDoubt I would return here ever. I have walked out 3 times now during the week of Oct 17 2023 as well as quite a few times on other dates. You wait inside until they finish prioritizing the lazy drive through customers. Most times, in the early morning there is only one counter server with lines of people waiting. Oct 3rd 2023, three of us left without ordering, as again.....priority to the drive through is given. Customer service is not something that Horton's provides any longer. I am not about to call some 1800 number to voice my concerns to deaf ears. If the owner of this location can not figure out there is a problem, they should either sell it to someone that cares and understands what customer service is, or start working the counter for the next few months to get a grasp on what some of these ongoing issues are. This is not rocket science. I have never seen the owner here work the counter ever as inn step in to help when inside is busy. To prove what happens, we had one of us go to the drive through and I went inside. The drive through line was longer than the line inside, yet still our drive through order was filled long before we were. How do we know?.....we stayed on the phone to each other to gauge what was happening in real time. The owners can make all the excuses they want, but they are out of touch!...
Read moreThis place is horrible! I go out of my way to AVOID this place. I've gone here twice in the last year and a half. The first time, they handed my boyfriend a cup in the drive thru with no sleeve and didn't make sure the lid was on properly. He burned the hell out of his hand. The person who handed it to him got an earful from me. Just negligent. The second time was just last week. I asked for a plain bagel, double toasted with plain cream cheese and a breakfast bacon sandwich on a bisquit. They gave me an everything bagel, and a breakfast sandwich on a English muffin. I was pissed! Went back, noticed that someone in line had their order messed up and someone OUTSIDE said they messed up their order too. So I tell this person what I ordered and he took it back put his gloves all over it. Went to the back, brought me back a plain bagel with cream cheese and the same everything bagel! I looked in the bag and I said No! This is wrong AGAIN! They fixed it once again, checked it and left. Never going back there. They need to get some better staff who understand what they are...
