Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Prince George

Very disappointed..... Never had such a horrible fast food experience!!!! Ordered a crispy chicken sandwich combo and they said I had to wait 6 minutes for fresh chicken which was fine. Till I got home to eat it... My 1st bite felt like I was eating rubber and it came apart in thick strings when I took it apart to make sure it was cooked. But I was absolutely starving so thought I would try one more bite.... But couldn't eat it. So while trying to figure out what to do I decided to call and see if there was something they could do as my sandwich wasn't edible. So the employee asked if that order was fresh and I could hear the other employee say yes it was fresh. My reply was well I waited the extra 6 minutes for It to be fresh. And I said well I couldn't eat it bc it was to gross and the guy said well it was deep fried for 6 minutes and they just follow the recipe that is given for cooking and there isn't anything they can do about it. So needless to say won't be going there again. And now I feel so sick actually made me sick...

**Second Update - Still no response from this location, two weeks later, we're sorely disappointed. We've boycotted Dairy Queen altogether.

*Update - I emailed DQ customer service, as requested by the response on this review, and was referred right back to the people who own this DQ location. Will update when I receive a response.

This is the second time we gave this location a shot, buying log cakes. Each time I specifically asked the lady opening the padlocked cake case, 'these have fudge and cookie crumble inside, right?' and they answered, 'yes.' Neither had the layering inside, just straight ice cream. My daughter's cake was ruined, in her opinion, and Mother's day was also a flop for the 'layered' log cake. I understand there will be some 'allergens' in the cakes, but there were full chunks of pineapple and several other unidentifiable (hopefully food based) objects in my daughter's Mint Oreo cake. I have not been to the Dairy Queen on 3rd ave in Prince George since November of 2018 when I went there to order 6 cheese burgers to go. I asked for them to be cooked fresh and that I didn't mind waiting. When I looked back into the kitchen, 2 employees were frowning back at me while a 3rd was staring at me with wide eyes and his mouth open witch I thought was odd. My order was ready quite fast as well and when I opened them 5 minutes later at home they were not even remotely warm. They had given Me pre-cooked burgers that they had not even warmed up on purpose to "Teach Me a lesson" for requesting them to be fresh cooked.
