Lil Ava's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Prince George

We came here last night excited to try the pizza. We ordered at 5:45 and were told 30 minutes. 50 minutes in we’re still waiting and someone who ordered after us got their pizza. We went and asked and they said it’s coming. 1hr in the other person after us got their pizza. We asked again. They start scrambling and tell us it was sent with a delivery driver and they’re making a new one which will be 10 minutes. It was still 22 minutes after that time. So nearly 1.5hrs for two basic pizzas (one cheese, one pepperoni). I get it, they’re new, mistakes happen. BUT… in that time we seen them somehow lose 5 other peoples orders. There was a lot of angry people waiting an hour for their “30 min” pizza. One demanded a refund and left after his hour. We were told “you can have a refund if you want” only after a table next to us said “I hope you’re giving them a refund”. They did refund us, and were very apologetic which we appreciated but this many errors and missing pizzas should not have happened. Especially with that many staff members. The pizza itself was fine. Not the best pizza I’ve had, but not the worst. If you’re wanting to try it I highly suggest you wait a month until they can figure...

Edit to original post* the owner contacted me and said when I was back in Prince George he would make it upto me, which he did. My wife and daughter went back and had food which was quick and delicious, thanks to Jasvinder for reaching out and making it upto us, it shows good management by listening to their customers*

We were told it was 30 mins for our pizza we waited over an hour and half they seemingly lost ours, supposedly delivery guy gave wrong order to someone and we were forgotten. We realized something was up when people after us got their pizzas. We weren't the only ones quite a few people didn't get their pizza or service. The employees are learning and were apologizing for the mistake and refunded us. The people who were sat were confused as they thought someone was going to take their order as they didn't realize they had to order up front. All in all it was ok... I'd wait a bit for them to work...

Updated : The owner reached out to me, very friendly, and offered to replace my pizza with no charge, ordered the lil avas special, double peperoni double mozzarella and cheddar cheese, delicious pizza, but in my opinion for double toppings it was still a little lacking, personal opinion though. It was very tasty, not quite what I was expecting for double toppings.

Ordered the meat pizza with a Greek salad and a few cans of soda, the pizza I was able to hold by the crust and it came out like a piece of cardboard, didn't bend at all, it had the smallest amount of topping I have ever seen on a pizza of that kind, for $35 for a medium I was expecting more. The Greek salad was good, but also pricy for its size at $15, very unimpressive. For the $60 I spent there on 1 pizza and a salad, I could have went to 73 and got 2 large pizzas wings and another side with 4 drinks and it still would have been cheaper and had more toppings, I will not be going back...
