The service was quick and friendly. But unfortunately, there's no positive impression left on me beyond that one interaction.
The food was overpriced for what was offered. I love going out for breakfast! I hate cooking breakfast so dining out in the morning is a treat for me. The basic breakfast meal was over $10 and consisted of the cheapest items - 2 eggs, meat, shredded hadhbrowns, and toast. The meat (sausage) tasted odd so I resorted to eating the toast and eggs instead.
There is no atmosphere or charm inside; it felt depressing, cluttered and boring. All the walls were light grey, random ugly art and other decor posted on the wall (none fitting a country style), extra furniture stacked at the back of the large dining area, and business items filled one of the dining tables near the front of the restaurant. It seemed more like someone's basement or garage than a restaurant.
I understand that diners and country restaurants can be simple and basic. But usually the trade-off of lower prices and good food is present and the atmosphere has some charm. However, the price point wasn't there for me to be satisfied with the food.
