Ashton — Restaurant in Quebec

This was the best poutine I've ever had, except for the one time I made it at home. But the best restaurant poutine I've ever had for sure. We had leftovers and I didn't know how to say "lid" in French so I asked the worker for a "chapeau" for my leftovers. He laughed and taught me the word "couvercle".

The other food was good too; fresh and tasty and different enough from other fast food places that it makes it worthwhile to come back.

Best poutine around with especially fresh cheese curds, pulverized ground meat where the fat has almost completely been rendered away, and just enough gravy to keep everything together. Personally I need a touch of acidity so eventually I'll add a pouch of vinegar for a regular sized dulthon, the only thing I ever eat from here, which was first 20 years ago. I just keep going back for more, generally once a week...
