Very bad experience started from exiting the escalator coming to the restaurant a waitress holding a tray with 4 glasses of water walking close to the escalator blocking whomever coming off the escalator. I could've fall backwards. They should train them not to walk that close to the escalator. The the host we only spoke English with her but she insists to reply in French, after she seated us with our menus we found all menus in French. I went back to her to request English menus she was rude flipping the menu of the day that one side English one side French without talking and giving weird face looks. I told her I know that, I need the menus not the day special, she gave me 3 menus. When I went back to my seat I found that she's again give me 2 French menus and one English. We were 3 had to rotate the English menu between us. We even tried to look up the English version online. My shrimp plate did not come with a separate plate to throw the shrimp tails. When I want to pay I felt very uncomfortable the waiter staring at the paying machine while I'm entering my numbers, very rudely he was saying why I only tip $5 on $75.25 before tax that the rules is 15% he was asking if his service was bad. You should train your waitress not to beg for tips or make your customers uncomfortable. They need to understand we don't have to tip its optional. You should pay them their wages not us. If I paid cash I would've even take my $5 back. June 28/22 Addition #564259-1 table #81Etienne P 12:45pm 2450 Boil....
Read moreWhere do I even start with this horrific experience? Not only did the food take so long to arrive that it was almost cold when my family and I received it, but it was also so tasteless that I felt sick after eating. On top of that, the table became progressively dirtier as our time there went on. To make matters worse, the customer service completely fell apart at the end! I had to force myself to eat a bland burger that seemed like it hadn't been seasoned at all. The fries were disgusting and oily, to the point where the salt wouldn't even stick to them.
When the bill came — which, SURPRISINGLY, totaled a whopping $300 — my father added a $5 tip. Usually, we wouldn’t tip at all since we are tourists from Europe, but they expected 15% of $300!! A $45 tip is genuinely outrageous in my eyes, and I’m sure those who don’t have a lot of money to spend would agree! Then, as if our experience couldn’t get any worse, our waiter got upset and tossed my father’s card onto the table AS HIS HAND WAS HELD OUT TO GRAB IT!
If we had known our bill was going to be $300, we wouldn’t have even looked at this restaurant. Lo and behold, when we were packing up, the waiter’s colleague came up and interrogated us about our low tip. She explained how tips are their paycheck, acting like it was OUR fault they get paid so little. Absolutely terrible —...
Read moreI am very disappointed and I usually do not write bad reviews but this restaurant supposed be a good quality place and my expectations was high as well. I ordered from Uber eats Nov 1st 2021 around 8pm and received it around 9pm. I got my order with reusable bag. I was so excited, opened the bag, then I saw my cheesecake and it looked like someone took a bite on it then packed it back into the container. I do not feel like touching the cake and spend almost 10$ for that. So disappointed.
Update I also complained to Uber eats right after I saw the cake Nov 1st. They took this as serious matter and their investigation team called and emailed me to found out more details. November 4th I got full refound (cake +steak) from Uber eats.
I believe nothing wrong with Uber side. I was the one open the bag, so the uber driver did not have a chance to touch my meal because of the staple by the restaurant and she even communicated with me about the delivery address. She was professional.
If I was in the restaurant to eat the meal, I don't think servers will bring the cake to no one. Just because they don't see the person to send whatever to pack such as unacceptable food eventually bring down the quality of the restaurant's name and will bring down the trust of the...
