Grumpy man (possibly the owner) at counter wouldn't even try to help us understand. We went to dozens of establishments during our 4 day visit in Quebec and he was the most unprofessional and unfriendly person we've encountered. As for the food - I don't even know where to begin. We ordered shawarma but he gave us some rubberized donair. The chicken was disgusting too. Nothing had flavor. Very, very disappointing for a middle eastern "restaurant". eww.
Edit: As expected - the owner replied with a nasty comment. He really doesn't know who left this review for his restaurant. We never even gotten drinks and nobody challenged you or "whined". You're leaving a lie of a reply because you're mad another customer didn't like your service nor food. Sir, if you know which customer left this review - I challenge you to describe me. Hint - I wasn't at your establishment today, so not sure who you're talking to or about. One thing you can stop doing is make up stuff. And stuff is not the word I wanted to say. If you can't take criticism, you shouldn't be in business. Reviews are here to help businesses do better, but obviously, your feelings got hurt. The food and hospitality business is not for the weak. And you, "sir", are Weak. And Racist.
This is NOT Lebanese food. It's barely Lebanese food from...
Read morePlease read.... Where do I start. It was Christmas day so everything is closed with the exception of some places. I ordered from here and I was not impressed at all. First of all I used uber eats and requested cutlery but nothing was sent. The Tabbouleh calls for parsley, tomatoes, onions and cracked wheat. Get ready for old lettuce, tomatoes, some parsley and couscous. I had the shish taouk and shawarma plate. The portion was large but again... old lettuce, the chicken was literally boiled and chopped(nothing close to shawarma) and I don't know what shish taouk is supposed to be like but it was donair shavings. I left half of it scared I'll get sick and have to call in to work the next day. I give one star for the potato wedges and the garlic sauce which was kind of tasty enough to mask how unpleasant everything else was. I don't know why the owners don't improve their quality when so many people leave...
Read moreAs someone Lebanese and knows what authentic Lebanese food is, I can assure you this is NOT LEBANESE food at all! This is a disgrace!
Where should I start? The tabbouleh was rotten (they made it using rotten tomatoes, they tasted sour, we were 4 to taste it and all 4 agreed!). Super disgusting and has nothing to do with the real tabbouleh (FYI, this is not how tabbouleh is made!)
The shish tawook and chawarma were super cold, and had no taste at all. What is supposed to be garlic paste was a liquidy white thing, God only knows what it was! Forced ourselves to eat a bit as we were super hungry but then we couldn't continue and the food ended up being thrown away in the garbage!
The only thing that passed were the fries!
Horrible food! Do not waste your money on it! Not even authentic! First and last time we order...
