Starting off with the good, the ambience was nice and staff was attentive and friendly. As a stereotypical Asian, I still ate all my food to get my money's worth... however, I wish we skipped dinner here or rather it was only worth less than half the price we paid. As someone of Asian descent who has both visited Thailand and Cambodia in the past, this isn't authentic and flavorful cuisine to me. Perhaps it was adapted to fit the taste buds of locals who like their food prepared this way but in my opinion, the dishes were too sweet or overpowered by fish sauce. There also wasn't enough lemongrass when the dish specifically mentioned it. I should have known it wasn't authentic when there was celery in the Tom Yum soup. Also the shrimp were disappointingly small and too few. The entrées tasted like what you can make at home if you go to the store and buy canned curries that are pre-made and add coconut milk and throw in vegetables to boil. This restaurant might be the best "Asian" place nearby Quebec but I recommend going somewhere else if you have high expectations for this type of cuisine or else you will think the reviews...

My husband and I visited this place on our trip to Quebec city. The place is good, ambience is really nice but there service is very poor. We ordered the Mekong soup, vegetable imperial roll, corn balls and Pad Thai. There apps were amazing especially the corn balls but their pad thai tasted only of fish sauce. Our experience was really spoiled after our waitress forgot our order altogether. We had placed the order of all four dishes the moment we sat down. We got soup and the corn balls after 10 mins but the waitress totally forgot about us. After waiting for 20 mins we told her that we haven’t received the rest of our order and after 10 mins she comes and gets our pad thai. We thought that the imperial rolls need some more time. After 10 mins we asked her about the imperial rolls, she tells us that she totally forgot about it and hadn’t placed the order for it. Anyway after 5 mins we received the rolls and we paid and left. I don’t think we will be going here ever again. No doubt the food is good but their service...

Awesome service! We took a chance and went without reservations and they took us in at the bar. The barman was super chill and not intrusive in his interactions..just a damn good barman. Made us some special drinks he created on the spot and they did the job! Our food was fantastic...decent portions but not heavy. Fresh ingredients and very tasty sauces. Food may have taken some time to come but if your on a date your not looking at your watch. It was very reasonnable wait considering it was Friday 7pm (March 8th). Lots of seating in dining room...nice decor and ambiance...it was surprisingly not loud either..one can maintain a conversation very easily. Waiters checked up on us from time to timeand kept topping up our water. Really great experience overall so i highly recommend!

Keep up the nice work gang! The wife and i will be back at our next Quebec trip!

Ps: you do need to find parking in nearby streets but its the case for any business you visit in the area. This place is woth...

Good Asian food if you’ve never had Asian food before. Luc lac beef was very chewy and overcooked. It came in a strange soupy sauce with cold tomatoes on the side. Not close to authentic luc lac at all, which is Vietnamese and not Cambodian. The Tao chicken is just sesame chicken and also not Cambodian or Thai. It was oddly too sweet. Honestly Panda Express is better. They prioritize takeout orders so if you want your food in less than an hour, do takeout and don’t sit at a table. There were five tables outside with people, and we watched 30-40 takeout orders complete before we got our food. Many of those orders were from walk ups. We didn’t even get a refill of water and the only status update from the waiter was that the food is coming soon. It did not come “soon.”

Probably my favorite meal in Quebec!! My husband found this place and it was amaaaazing!! We sat outside and used a heat lamp because there was a cold breeze. The guy who took our order was very nice! We ordered the Le Saang and Pad Singapour. The Le Saang was a rice dish with the BEST flavored sauce! I ordered mine with chicken. The sauce makes you want to eat all the rice&chicken&veggies!! I gobbled my plate up because I could not put down my chopsticks! It was THAT good! Pad Singapour was a spicy (very mild) noodle dish. The curry sauce was yummy and complimented tofu and chicken well! I am so glad we ordered this dish as well! If this was closer to our hotel, would def go back!! Highly recommend!!
