Their pizza is out of this world, and you heard this from someone who is not a fan of pizza. You can eat there or order carry-out, which is great for picnics.
Place: Area is cozy, split in two; you've got the front dining area with a firewood pizza oven at the entrance, and another one in the back that's a little more intimate with more space and larger tables. If you're sensitive to heat I greatly recommend asking to be seated in the back, as the dining area with the oven in the room gets HOT, especially in the summer.
Service: Friendly and quick service, nothing to say here.
Food & drinks: Homemade pizza dough, homemade tomato sauce, homemade everything, what's to complain about? It tastes real and delicious. The tomato sauce they use is incredible. They are very generous on toppings. My favorite pizza is the arugula proscuitto one. Proscuitto being an expensive topping, you'd expect to see a few flimsy slices here and there underneath the arugula; wrong, the pizza is COVERED with a thick layer of meat. They're not afraid to give you what you paid for. A good variety of draft beer, both commercial and from local microbreweries. Cocktails & non-alcoholic beverages are available too.
Price: Very reasonable for a restaurant on St-Joseph street. This area is notorious for pricey restaurants that aren't really worth the money. This one definitely is worth every penny you'll spend there. A pizza varies from 12 to 20 bucks depending on toppings. They're fairly large so if you can't eat it all in one sitting, you can bring the rest home! They heat up well.

Read moreMy partner and I went to the store for dinner upon store opening on a Sunday evening. We did not have a reservation (was not aware that we needed to make one) and the tables were almost all reserved. However, the host was really nice and got us a table to sit at for an hour and half which was more than enough for us to finish our meal. If you are an English speaker, I would definitely recommend downloading google translate on your phone and use the camera function to translate the menu, it will make your life so much easier (otherwise I just look up pictures and ask the waitress which one it is 😂) I believe we ordered a prosciutto arugula and a spicy sausage/chorizo pie. The prosciutto arugula was really unique for a pizza, instead of being overly oily from the olive oil drizzled on top, it also had this gentle refreshing taste to it. Spicy sausage was really flavorful, just a tad bit oily compared to the other one but still tasted great. Also, as a side note, don’t attempt to pick up the pizza like a New York slice, it will be too soft to handle. This is one of those times where you have to eat a pizza with utensils, but hey, it’s worth the...
Read moreWow! Wood-fired pizza made to perfection. A wide array of flavourful, excellently executed simple classics, inventive newcomers, and over the top mind-blowers, coupled with friendly, informative fast service, and a great location a little off the beaten path but still central mean you’ll never be disappointed. We haven’t been yet, and we’ve been back several times - both eat-in and take-out. Slightly upscale in its pricing, the menu selections and obvious incredible quality of the ingredients that Nina Pizza uses to perfection are more than worth it. Really, really, really good pizza - you won’t be disappointed. Really thin really, really good crust, easily folded to keep things squared away… so good. Though you can eat it with a fork and knife if that works for you… We’ve sampled most of the menu, and the quality and excellence are consistent across the board. Try the Margherita with Anchovies or Luca (simple, savoury, perfect)… Great job, Nina Pizza, an...
