Wahoo Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Quinte West

My family ate here on a Friday afternoon Dec 27th before a hockey game. We were SO happy with the food, service, atmosphere and bang for your buck. We had 4 meals, and 2 alcoholic drinks, and our bill was less than $80 . We had a three day tournament at the arena behind the pub and continued to give them service as everything was always up to par and the kids LOVED it there, with the hockey atmosphere, and sticks on the benches, they were always asking if were going to eat can we go to Wahoos?! The server was UNREAL. She would have our drinks at the table within seconds of seeing us at the door, and was so prompt with refills, getting food out and managing the tables. She was wonderful to all of us, especially the kids. Anytime we are in the area, we will be giving our service to this...

The servers and food were very good for the price. It's not a fancy place but if you want good food at a good price with a friendly smile I would recommend the Wahoo. My burger wasn't cooked into a hockey puck and actually had some juiciness to it. That's a win here in Ontario. My wife did not love the saucy nature of the Philly cheesesteak sandwich but that was a personal preference. She did however love the thick cut fries. The third person or group had a small Greek salad with chicken added. While the chicken was a tiny bit dry the salad was very large for a small salad. As for the cost ...we had three meals and one of our party had a beer the other two just drink water... with a healthy tip we got out of there for under...

Sad that one of the few Trenton restaurants disappoints. Wanted a philly cheese steak sandwich, but was surprised about their using sweet asian themed sauce (teriyaki?) as the go-to flavour. There was a good measure of beef on the bun but the beef was also covered with the sweet sauce so any attempts to scrape it off in hopes of recovering something from it was futile. And,of course, my having ordered a Philly cheese steak, I was kind of hoping for Philly cheese but it turns out that the sandwich didn’t have any cheese on it. Again, disappointed. Think twice before coming here. Maybe Cheerz up the street has real Philly cheesesteak sandwich....
