Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Quinte West

Don't let the three stars fool you, I recommend that you scroll down and read all the revise because there isn't very many good ones at all. I would give zero stars if possible. reading other reviews tells me that I'm not the only one with this experience.

This is going back a while now because I forgot to write a review. maybe a few months.

pizza pizza will not uphold their 40 minute guarantee.

My pizza was an hour and 45 minutes late.

I had instructed them to call me when they got to the apartment building because my buzzer didn't work. but I received no call. finally when they arrived my phone rang and I said thanks for the free pizza.

The delivery boy said "no its not", and I told him that I've been waiting almost two hours for my pizza so its free. In fact it was free after the first 40 minutes. He continued to argue, insisting that I pay for my families meal.

I ended up paying for the pizza because my family was Hungry.

I called the company when the delivery boy left and they argued and hung up on me.

Then soon after called me back offering me a ten dollar coupon for next time.

I declined, telling them that we had ordered pizza almost once a week for the last two months and that they have now lost a loyal customer.

In turn, I'm glad this had happened because there is MUCH better pizza in the area that I would have never found if this situation never came up.

I ordered Pizza Pizza my order was for pickup, I got a 2 topping Xtra large , 5 wings , 3 dips, 1 can on pop.

I have had pizza there before that was really good but my latest experience was terrible. To start out The Safety seal was broken like snapped open when we realized it going into the apartment . While we were at pizza pizza we finished ordering and the lady went to make the pizza I went to ask for my drink and tried talking loudly the lady had music in her ear and couldn't hear me asking for my drink. The Pizza looked like it had a small slice missing from it and it looked like it was 3 different pizzas made into one pizza , it tasted a day old , when I put the pizza together it was basically missing a slice 1/20th the size of the pizza which would be consistent with what chuck cheese does with there pizza in the states , you could tell it was two different pizzas the crust was different Mind you I did get half cheese and half pepperoni and mushroom, so half the pizza had a ton more cheese that looked fresher , so I'm not sure if they are just putting left over pizza and reheating it that's certainly what I thought happened . I have had good experiences there but last night was like no other I've never been so disappointed, none the less I would still try them again they get another chance . I visited this Pizza Pizza location today (June 30, 2025), and I feel it’s important to share my experience so the store management can take necessary steps to improve hygiene practices.

There was only one staff member working at the time. Unfortunately, I noticed that he was preparing both meat and vegetarian pizzas without wearing gloves and without washing his hands in between switching ingredients. This raises serious concerns, especially for those with dietary restrictions or health sensitivities.

I want to make it clear that this feedback is not intended to target any individual or community — in fact, I come from the same community as the staff member, which is why I felt even more compelled to speak up. Cleanliness and food safety should be a top priority for any food establishment, and I hope the store owner takes this feedback constructively.

I respectfully request the owner or manager to address this issue by ensuring that all employees follow proper hygiene protocols, especially when handling food. A small change like this can make a big difference in customer trust and...
