Specifically the Skate Park. My 13 yr old son has been going there off and on for about 5 years now. I have found that even though there is a litter and recycling bin right at the entrance to the skate park, the locals (youth mostly) that attend here throw their plastic bottles and other garbage everywhere and anywhere but in the litter bin. More importantly, recently my son has been bullied, harassed and terrorized by a group of youth and 1 boy in particular who has actually threatened him with physical violence. I can no longer allow my son to attend and enjoy this skate park due to the gang mentality that my son (and I'm sure others) has had to face recently. Apparently none of the other youth can be bothered to intervene and nothing is being done to deter this extreme negative behaviour. My son also recently had a pair of brand new gloves stolen that he only had for 1 month that he had received as an extra birthday present. He had dropped the pair of gloves beside his backpack which he had left on the top of a ramp in the middle of the skate park. Read moreThis is my favourite place to take my dogs for a walk along the well maintained paths that run throughout the park from one end to the other. There’s an amphitheater, a covered pavilion with dozens of picnic tables and a stage. There’s a splash pad for those hot days to cool off the kiddies! There’s a playground in two areas, a skate/bike park, soccer & baseball fields throughout the park with well kept lush green fields! There’s the old marina the has been set up for a wakeboard (??) pull that’s really cool to watch! There’s facilities and parking in few different areas. There are families of birds such as ducks & swans all over & sometimes you get lucky to see a Mommy with her babies swimming along behind her...they are soooo cute!! This is my favourite park in Trenton and I have & will always recommend this park...
