McDonald's — Restaurant in Quispamsis

I’ve been in Quispamsis for 25 years and the running joke is that I eat at McDonald’s too much. I feel like the franchisee only cares about the bottom line. This location has been going down the tubes over the past couple of years. I’m sitting in the dining room now. My large size fries are cold, both fountain machines are out of order. The napkin dispensers are empty. The men’s bathroom is a 5/10 in terms of cleanliness. Oh my upsized Coke wasn’t filled to the top. I’ve been spending less and less money here and patronizing other food establishments. On the plus side, the Coke tastes right. This is not the case at the McEsso location about 50% of the time. Your employee Georgia is fantastic at the McEsso. I’d like to see the Hampton Road location adopt some practices that show that you take pride in providing your patrons with a pleasurable experience.

Editing to add that the dining room is relatively clean. And that I’m not one to complain at the counter. It’s the franchisee/manager’s responsibility to meet corporate expectations and standards. And, my dog always gets...

I ordered a Big Mac. It was as if they put triple the Mac sauce on it. It was slopping all over the place. I tried to wipe off what I could of the excess...I ended up losing all the toppings with it. What was worse, there had been so much Mac sauce, it actually disintegrated the middle bun. The fries I got were cold and almost hard ...like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour... They could have at least made fresh fries...but they probably turned the fryer off too like everything else.

Our original order (placed over an hour and a half before closing) included an egg McMuffin, a large chocolate milkshake, and a poutine. We did not get any of those items because we were told they were out of eggs (and couldn't make more), the icecream machine was shut down for the night, and they had no gravy for poutine.

This was one of the worst visits to McDonalds I have ever experienced. If this had been my first impression of this restaurant, I would never go back and I would tell everyone I know to avoid it too. What a...

Update- I just downgraded to 2 stars! Get your COLD hash browns here first time every time! All they care about is getting people gone from the drive-thru before they run out of time on their clock. They don't care at all about whether or not the food is good and hot. Plus I gave it a low rating due to the fact that our community has long outgrown this badly located (a maze), small, single drive-thru laned, overly busy (at times lined up around the building) restaurant. Want breakfast there a weekend morning? Want something quick on the way to work?Good luck to you. Its so bad there at times i dont even bother going in. We need a new KV McD's. A BIG one, one that's better located and quicker & easier to get in and out of. One with a double drive-thru lane. I also notice that there isn't even one reply by management to the many negative reviews about this location on here. That says it all right...
