A&W Canada — Restaurant in Red Deer

Honestly have tried to give this location quite a few chances but almost every order I have made here in the last year has been beyond disappointing and when I say that I mean every time is a new and fun surprise of will it be cold or undercooked or why even toast the English muffins they would surely like them raw and not even notice … for the price being paid for this stuff now it should be taken more seriously and every time I have been able to go back in the staff could NOT care less they will just hand you back a new order and it will have the same issue and I would understand a little bit more if I was there during rush hours but when most of the time there is literally no one behind me …. I just can’t wrap my head around it more or less done with this location especially after seeing how many people have the same issues here as me you would think someone would actually look into it and try to change it All I know is the next time I get and undercooked burger (literally half pink inside) I will be keeping it and report it and then will be immediately contacting their head...

The lady at the till is always so very nice, but unfortunately whoever is the manager or in the kitchen is absolutely rude. I had asked for them to put gloves on, and i get it's a hassle, I hate asking, anyways. She comes out and starts telling me why she doesn't have gloves,and how it's a health and safety thing (if you changed the gloves every single time, it wouldn't be) but the attitude she gave me was absolutely disgusting. I told her that I understand but she does not need to come at me like that. After, I watched her in the back using some sort of phone while remaking food and making other peoples food. That's the real health and safety problem in my eyes. On top of all that, they had originally messed up my order and then it took about 10+ mins for it to be made. By the time the interaction ended I just asked for a refund and went elsewhere. I doubt this location will be getting any money from me in the future as long as the green and pink haired lady is working there. She always seems to have a problem. It's really...

Ordered a bacon cedar uncle burger with a coupon. Tried to order a blueberry turnover to no availability yet it's on the drive thru main board. Asked to keep the coupon so I could re use as all the northern red deer and blackfalds a&w give then back also to no availability, not sure why exactly as you scanned it. Then I was handed a root beer when I asked for a coke. Got my food hot and looking nice. Fries barely had any salt and mostly tasted like hot potatoes. Burger also had no seasoning salt on the patty, one of the main reasons I like the a&w meat. The burger was fine otherwise, not nearly as hot as the fries but not bad. I would give the food a 6/10 and the service a 3/10. Probably won't use this location anymore, I would look into whomever own the blackfalds location and ask them what they're doing right because they have things on point. Oh and heads up they also sell turnovers for 99c and they always have multiples made at all times....
