Second Cup in Red Deer serves an excellent variety of delicious products. I do though, very much dislike most of their staff in both Second Cup shops in Red Deer, they are very arrogant, snooty, ignorant, snobby, unfriendly, snickery, and talk about certain customers behind the customer’s back. The staff don’t greet, smile, acknowledge, or welcome many of their customers as much as they should, like Star Bucks staff do. They will only give you good service if you fit in, dressed a certain way, are some type of VIP, or match their criteria of special selective people: classy, professional, sophisticated, business, designer clothes, wealthy and sharp looking. They are selective of who they treat with the best service. I have been to many many Second Cup coffee shops across Canada, from Vancouver to Calgary, Edmonton, to Winnipeg, to Toronto and Mississauga, to Montreal, but I have never been treated with such ignorant snooty service like I have here in Red Deer’s Second Cup shops. Read moreI wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the wonderful experience that I had at your establishment on Tuesday. While I have visited many coffee shops in the past, I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and customer service that I received at your shop.
One thing that particularly impressed me was the fact that you did not try to kill the fruit flies that were hovering over the bananas. As someone who is environmentally conscious and against the use of pesticides, I was pleasantly surprised to see that you were taking a humane and eco-friendly approach to dealing with the flies.
It is small gestures like this that make a big difference in the customer experience, and I wanted to let you know that I appreciate your commitment to sustainability and animal welfare.
Thank you for a wonderful experience, and I look forward to visiting your shop again...
