barBURRITO — Restaurant in Red Deer

DO NOT COME HERE!!! We placed the order online and then 5 minutes later went inside the location to wait for the order. The gentleman working behind the counter had still not started our order and no one else was in line. When I asked about my order I placed he told me he had to start my order but yet he did nothing and proceeded to just hang out.l filling a guacamole bowl that was already full. I asked him to cancel the order because he hasn’t yet started it but he said he couldn’t. I did not want to wait around for him to do it. We left because it was taking way too long and then I called him 2 min later to make sure he knew to cancel the order and he said the order was ready, (ya right) 3 burritos???which there is absolutely no way it was done. No one else was working with him. He said he would talk to his boss and then call me back. He never called. He was so rude and disrespectful from the moment...

Walked in and saw a special for street tacos advertised on the counter display, find out when go to pay that it's 2 bucks more and they forgot to remove a special offer advertisement. I asked her to honor the ad as that's why I ordered it. It was only a $2 difference but if you advertise something it should be honored. As she wouldn't do it I left without my order. The service received today lost you far more than 2 bucks..

To the owner reespnse: Not sure what else there is to say. You have cameras and can see/listen to the whole experience, my review came right after. Should be a teaching moment for your staff about how to handle their errors, I wouldn't have bought that had there not being an advertisement right in my face when I walked in and her repsonse really soured...

I made an online order that said it would be done by 4:48, but I was nearby so I parked outside 15 minutes early. Once 4:48 rolled around I went inside to pick up my order and they said it wasn’t started yet because it was busy. There was no one inside when I pulled up. Lied to my face. So I sat in the restaurant waiting for my order that was placed 15-20 minutes prior while 5 different walk in customers ordered food and literally got it before me. Unprofessional. EDIT: obviously it’s understandable that they could have been busy doing other tasks related to the job, but the whole point of online ordering is so that I don’t have to wait once I arrive for the pick up time. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again! On the bright side, very friendly staff and clean...
