Bo's Bar & Stage — Restaurant in Red Deer

I haven't been to Bo’s Bar and Stage for years now, as I don't reside in Red Deer, but I visited recently and left feeling just as full and satisfied as my previous visits. This place has served central Alberta since 1996! Their food, beer selection, cocktails and rotating live music really create a relaxed, inclusive, welcoming vibe for everyone.

The food here feels honest and satisfying. The dishes pair well with the local beer selection, which highlights some of Alberta’s finest producers. Cocktails feel handcrafted and refined. The live music adds life without being overwhelming. Every staff member felt genuine and upbeat, and it was rare for me to get to the bottom of my drink before I was asked if I wanted another! Really great service here from the wait staff.

The venue felt comfortable and casual, a great spot to meet with some friends or go for an evening out. You get the sense they treat their guests as neighbours. The mix of dining, drinks and entertainment has worked so well for Bo’s, something they continue to deliver with their complete experience of dining.

If you want a place that mixes good food, strong drinks, and live music in a familiar, friendly setting, Bo’s Bar and Stage fits the bill.

I couldn't recommend Bo's more! Can't wait to visit again.

P.S - You've GOT to try the Banana Rum...

I feel that sometimes restaurants get a little high on themselves when they get popular and forget what's important - happy customers. I dined with a friend this evening and our experience was lackluster. First I was really wanting some of their cool and unique french fries, I searched the menu and couldn't find them so I asked the server if they still had them and she pointed to their happy hour menu and said they're only available during that time and "they will not make it for you outside of these hours". I was a little put off by this because usually a restaurant that values its clients will make exceptions, but okay, I'll find something else. So we ordered the spinach dip to share and then we each got a meal. The spinach dip itself was fine, not amazing, but fine. The meals were fine. My drink was fine. When we went to pay at the end of the evening we asked for seperate bills and then the server asked who wanted to pay for the spinach dip and I asked her to split it and she said they aren't able to split. What kind of restaurant won't split an appetizer? Considering the fan fare and loyal customers Bo's has you'd think they would be a little more customer centric. I'm just a little disappointed, it's these small things that can make a customers experience great instead...

This was a place to come back and induldge to!!!!! we walk in and we are greeted kindly and friendly manner and we seated near some casino slots in the corner by their windows! Their dcorative feel was like the scene with captain america in his hallucinations with a mix of DIY modern day lighting and enviornmetal elements, very neat indeed! Their drink selection, goodness, where do I even start LOL!! so massive and such selection, I wish I could've chosen all, 24+ and more to choose from! their 9-12$ 4 drink sample tray is a must, medium sized drinking glasses very good and worth trying for first time (they erase the board and redo each day)! When the food came my mouth was like a water fall of hunger, the cheese was oh so gooey and melt in your mouth Gold to perfection, had the mac and cheese and street fries with bacon cheese, curds, and fried in maple syrup and chili sauce, HEAVEN was calling me!!!! Done in a blink of an eyelid, absolutely satisfied! not sure if I had dessert or not, but the menu overall was limited but all were exceptionally awesome!!! They even host events and live concerts on their facebook page which I have yet to go and try, but I am sure it's as good as the food and drinks!!
