After I got my money back at cleopatras donair for pure incompetency in running a business, I heard a radio ad for quality donair come through my speakers as I headed up Gaetz ave, so I googled where it was located and it was like god was on my side.. it was only a few minutes up the road! I followed the soft voice of my google navigator right to the front door! As I walked in and waited in the line I watch the enthusiasm in the gentlemen behind the counter as he took the order of a young family in front of me, speaking calmly and ensuring their order was correct. It was now my turn as I walked up to the counter he asked me how I was doing today, of course I was still salty from donair experience I had just come from, I answered that I was ‘ok’. None the less he took my order with a big smile and ensuring my order was exactly what I wanted. After my order, I watched another gentleman make an order and from observing I begin to feel like I had really made the right choice.. but now it was all coming down to the taste test I was about to get. As quick as I came in, despite the orders in front of me, my donair was ready! Maybe he sensed I wasn’t having the best evening at this point and put a rush on mine.. I felt my body calming and smiled as he handed me my donair. To the car I went where I pulled up along Gaetz Ave to watch the bmx bicycles and lifted diesel trucks pass by as I dug into my donair. Upon attempting to place a pre-paid pickup order via email, I was met with nothing short of disdain from the establishment. Instead of accommodating a simple request, the staff made it abundantly clear that my preference for email communication was an inconvenience to them.
