Buffet Very friendly and attentive staff we were asked almost every 5 minutes if we were okay or needed water and they would just refill once we were close to empty.
Huge difference from our buffet we regularly go to in calgary where we aren’t even acknowledged, maybe once or twice and when we need anything it feels like we are begging for water refills, napkins and they are cold and we feel as we are bothering them by asking.
It was super busy and they still made us and the surrounding tables priority. I’m glad I went to with my pregnant intuition to give it a try even after several bad reviews about not having fresh food or great service. I have to say every single item that I tried was absolutely delicious and full of flavour and they were refilling even when a sign of low amount was showing.
Huge amount of sweets which I’ve been craving the most during this pregnancy a variety of Cakes, ice creams, pies, jello and fruits.
I have a super picky toddler who usually just sticks to her basic nuggets and fries and she tried a bunch and enjoyed it all! Will definitely be back when we visit next time!! Even when the servers were busy polishing and making the cutlery sets they were asking if...
Read moreMe and my girlfriend have come here for a few dates there usually pretty good but the last few times me and my girlfriend have came here it has been a waste of money. Tonight we came in at 7 and grabbed a plate after looking around for things we would enjoy, we noticed almost all of the trays were empty and the food was super old so we asked If they planned on putting out fresh food and they told us no because it's to close to close because we had already grabbed a plate we stayed and tried to eat what was decent "as decent as cold hard food could be" for 20 dollars a plate the food should at least be hot. Besides the food the door to the kitchen was open and neither of the cooks were wearing hair nets, gloves, or masks. I watched the one cook scratch his head and then continue with what he was doing without washing his hands. Grossed me right out and I left still hungry. And my angry girlfriend wants me to mention that they had put meat spring rolls in the tray that said vegetable spring rolls she was not happy when...
Read moreIt's obviously a popular place as it got real busy while we were there , (we were there for opening at 11 am on a Saturday).
Choices were breakfast items (eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc) and Chinese. What I didn't like was the meat for the Chinese options all seemed to be pork (a ginger pork , sweet and sour pork, that kind of thing, only beef and broccoli. Lol). The fried rice and Shanghai noodles were greasy. Didn't try the desserts. They looked good though.
Not my favorite buffet. To be honest I'm not even sure what it cost so I cant say if it was good value for the money. I presume it is as it's so busy. We were 5 adults and a 7 year old, it was $130 with 15% tip and we had 3 pops. The 7 year old didn't enjoy it.
The staff were friendly, place was clean but we probably won't visit again. That being said I would recommend you try it as it seems quite popular and our tastes might be...
