The absolute star of the show was our server, Fran. She went above and beyond in making sure we get everything done exactly as we want, including coming back with an additional portion of deep fried shredded hashbrowns for my hubby (who found his not quite crispy enough) for no additional charge. Outstanding service and a great, fun chat, absolutely made our day. As for the place itself: the food was pretty good, a bit overpriced (but then, what isn't overpriced these days), but tasty. Good sunny-side-up eggs and bacon, a nice Monte-Cristo sandwich. The layout and the vibe of the place were a bit weird and inconsistent, like the owners couldn't decide whether they were going for a buffet, fine dining or a diner feel. A pretty big menu with breakfast all day, lunch and dinner options. The cheapest items were around $13. Very disappointing. Had a 11am reservation left at 1250 as we still had no food. I actually shared my mother's day Chocolates with the tables beside us with 3 young children who also left because no food after same time. The waitresses were busting their butts and working their mother's day and I appreciated how they were trying to keep up, where was management in all of this? Poor planning for such a day that would be expected to be run off your feet, where was the support. Not very well planned. And as explained " skip the dishes orders were unexpectedly getting them behind" and shut down but your restaurant and customers wait 2hours?? Where was the priority? Or at least inform customers not just keep saying your order will be 15more minutes and after 15min be told again another 15min.
