Visiting Red Deer for a pit stop and have heard of this place through a friend so we decided to try it out. This restaurant has a signature color which is Yellow like a bee. Yellow on the restaurant sign and yellow on the inside which I think it really suits the theme. There are plenty of seatings which include tables and booths. I liked how they have the background music on while we eat, it helps with my appetite lol. Staff were very friendly and polite. They recommended me to get Peek Gai Yad Gai (Stuffed Chicken Wings) and Boy! They were really good! It comes in 4 big pieces and inside is stuffed with minced chicken meat, corn, carrots and green peas. You can dip with chicken sauce or without it. We were blown away by how good it tasted and we were wondering how they made it. But I know for sure it must not be easy. That’s why we really were happy getting to try it. The chicken satay also is a must try. The flavor is so rich and reminds me of Thailand. We will try all the other appetizers next time we come back here lol.
Note: There’s no other kinds of drinks...

The taste was not authentic but I think they dialed it down and made up their own recipe for "white folk". I'm Chinese btw so i can handle the stinky soups and weird food/spice.... the papaya salad tasted so sweet as if they used the dipping sauce for cold shrimp as a dressing and the Tom kha was watery, tasted nothing like coconut base... tasted like drinking watered down ketchup. The pad thai was terrible and spring rolls were chewy and tough.. green curry was watery as well. For better food in this sad city, rueon thai is better surprisingly. 😞 I am so so disappointed that I wasted my day off to eat here. SERVICE was...
Read moreThere is too much sugar in all the food there. It feels like I am drinking a whole bottle of syrup.
Khao Man Gai, Khao Moo Dang - all the sauces they provided have a lot of sugar. I ordered Som Tam, explicitly putting in the note "No Sugar" and "not sweet," but it ended up opposite what I requested.
The food here is unhealthy if they continue overusing sugar in their food, and I might get diabetes if I continue having the food here. If you like sweet flavor, this place is for you, but if you are concerned about your health in the long term, I don't think this is the place to eat. I will come back if they are willing to change, but I will go somewhere...
