Our quick breakfast had turned into an hour long disaster. The moment we were sat down, it took us 10-15 mins to order some drinks. Different waitresses would run by, telling us to wait for just 2 drinks. It took like 3-4 runarounds from different waitresses until my partner finally got his coffee but it took me another 10 mins to get my own hot drink. We've only ordered 2 items so far and it's drinks but the service has gone downhill already than how bad it's already been. We continued to wait, trying to get a waitress's attention so we finally have gotten to put in our order but it took longer that we've been sitting there for 30 mins with 2 empty cups.
Cora, could you please re-train your workers? Even basic customer handling needs some work done on everyone as they don't know when to actually stop and talk to you directly. We understand the stress and the small rush that happens but I think they really need to understand that running by a table asking for us if we want more coffee multiple times and before we could even answer, they're already gone then telling us to wait rudely doesn't really seem like a service worth coming back to.
Update : My table's been waiting for 50 mins for our meal, our drink cups have been empty awhile ago still. A family had sat down 10 mins ago and they haven't had drinks offered or even had any waitress come and help them. There's an old group in front of our table too that hasn't received their food as well. They sat only 15 minutes or so before us they could've waiting in an unreasonable amount of time too.
Update II : We arrived before 11am. Its past 12pm and we finally have BOTH our plates on our table. The poached eggs were clearly undercooked (like clear raw egg white and yolk) and not MEDIUM (jelly-like yolk) when we clearly asked for it to be medium cooked. My waffles seemed like it's been sitting on the counter for a long time as it was hard to cut through the waffles and the first bite was cold and rubbery. We seated for an hour, no check-ins with the waitress, no apologies. All responses sounded robotic and scripted. The "thank you for your patience" with a neglectful tone felt more like we were being offended. With that being said, we asked for the bill and left unfinished plates.
Hire better workers or train your workers how to handle customers properly and efficiently. You want these customers to come back, feeling at home and connected to your people and the establishment. Not make the customers feel like some easy cash grabs from bad quality food and service.
We will no longer come back to this place, as we've decided this is the last time we're dealing with this disorganized restaurant. It is unfortunate as we are regulars and we are patient with the meals as they can definitely be delicious. It doesn't taste the same nor it feels the same to go here.

We have eaten at all sorts of breakfast places and im writing this review as we are waiting more than 40 minutes for our food without any end in sight. There are 4-5 servers working right now, in a not terribly busy restaurant and the service has been nothing but atrocious. I used to love this location but it seems any sort of service they may have had before has flown out the window. It's taken 10 minutes to get a refill on my coffee! I'm unsure what has happened here but I feel as me and my fiancé will be finding a new local restaurant to eat. It's such a shame cause I really do love the food here but it has definitely fallen off and it's a pitiful excuse for service. Half of the wait staff doesn't seem to care to serve the customers leaving the other half to bust their butt to keep customers happy.
I'm disappointed, cora really had a very special place in my heart as a wonderful breakfast restaurant you could never complain about and now im sitting here listening to your staff scream at one another because you're so unorganized

There was no apology or any sentences given, just dropped off the plate and left us to wait once more. I would've left a better review if you still retained your quality of food but even that has flown out the window. Read moreNot such a good morning for me at Cora’s. I arrived around 10:30. Nobody waiting, most tables occupied. There was someone at the cash desk entering stuff from a notebook. Servers rushed by. NObody acknowledged me, not even the person arms length from me at the register. Two more servers go by. Nothing. Couple minutes later a Skip the Dishes driver arrived. Server leans PAST me to get the number from STD guy. Does not speak to me. STD guy apologizes to me. Another server comes by, leans PAST me to get STD number. Does not speak to me. Server at desk leaves without speaking to me, and I ask her to please speak to me or find server. She says she thought someone had talked to me. Nope. Only the STD guy. Have discussion with very nice and apologetic STD guy. I comment I have never seen a Cora’s without a lineup out the door on a sunny Sunday. I wonder why. sarcasm A nice very young server came to find me a table and took me to the back corner, well fenced in and full of very young children. Sorry, at this point I’m not going to be a good sport and I ask for a table where I can watch my car and my dog. She takes me to a four top by the window and I don’t even feel bad. Feel even less guilty when I discover the coffee is awful. Maybe the food will be good.
Insights— people order from Cora’s and STD rather than come in. Not surprised.
Also— Cora’s prefers STD because they get full price and don’t have the annoying customer service to provide.
