I ordered a Pizza a couple weeks ago late into the evening and when it arrived the dough underneath the sauce wasn't cooked, it was a gooey texture. I immediately called the store to mention this issue and I was told that because they are soon to close that they wouldn't be able to send out a replacement pizza (understandable) and that the Store Manager is away for a couple days but when she returns, she will give me a call and then I would be reimbursed or compensated a new pizza ( No problem, great). Fast forward a couple days and I still did not receive a phone call, so I called the store to find out what was going on. The Manager was still not back and I was informed that my case was noted in the system and that I would be called when shes back. Almost a week goes by and at that point I totally forgot about the pizza until after work one day I remembered that I was owed a pizza so I called the store to find out why I wasn't called and to place my order.
The Manager had picked my phone call up and I mentioned why I was calling and she noted that she knew there was a complaint but wasn't too sure what the problem was. I believe a simple conversation with her co-worker would suffice and she would have been brought up to speed. After a brief discussion she said " I have no way to prove that you didn't eat that pizza and a compensation was out of the question". Like I previously mentioned I had called the store as soon as I took my first bite and noticed that the crust was not cooked at all. The Manager was still persistent, and showed no regard for this issue and refused to reimburse me or send out a compensation pizza. I have ordered countless pizza's from Papa Johns with zero issues and the one time that there is one, I am treated with no respect nor consideration. Again I had to phone the store to figure out why I wasn't contacted yet.
I am not sure if this is how the Papa Johns franchise or the Owner wants this establishment run but I will no longer support this restaurant if this is how I...
Read moreIn all honesty it's great food have been a loyal papa johns consumer for many years in fact my family is lazy and we get pizza almost 3-4 in a month. I normally don't do these but since no one will listen I would like to warn people about the service. About a month ago on a Sunday I ordered pizza to go from my mobile. There was a mix up and I ended up placing two orders. Instead of doing what is normally done and calling to ask I show up and find this out. No big deal right? We all make mistakes and the first gentleman I dealt with understood this but then this girl comes from behind the counter and tries to guilt/force me into purchasing both! Once I finally pay for my food feeling like I had been disrespected and treated like a child I had left obviously a little upset I get in my car and I sat there for a second to text my hubby that I was on my way and this is where I became extremely upset, here is this same girl leaning against the door glaring me down with one hand on her hip and the other on the door. I roll my window down as I have had enough and told her this was no way to treat a customer and a loyal one at that! Then she has the nerve to insult me and call me stupid and a b** and raise her middle fingers at me before entering the store again! I immediately called their customer service line where a nice gentleman assured me a manager would call within 48 hours and when it didn't happen I called twice more and got the same answer. I wish I could say that I would go back to any other papa johns besides this location but the fact that they let that behavior get away is ridiculous and I refuse to eat somewhere that supports that. I work in customer service and if I did that I wouldn't have had a job the next day. Extremely...
Read moreWhat an unprofessional experience we just had all around..placed an order at 6:03 being told it would be roughly 45 minutes. After 50 minutes, the driver called us and over the phone, I explained he was in the wrong area, and where to go. He then went up to someone’s house to ask for directions, and handed me off to this random lady trying to enjoy her night? I will say this left us both very confused. After another 2 phone calls, me standing at the road trying to act as a landmark, and telling him we’re the only unit that has an orange light. After 1.5 hours, he finally shows up with no apology, and seemed very disgruntled, making it seem like our fault. I asked for his name a couple times, as I didn’t want to make this public, I thought I could call the store and handle it directly. Though I didn’t get his name, I called the store anyways and was met with the same unapologetic attitude and was just told they were busy…very unfortunate as this was always a favourite of ours! But one bad experience can really change a persons opinion on pizza, even if it did taste good!
EDIT:Papa Johns really came through and made things right! Really great to see company’s still wanting to make it better for the customer!!...
