'Absolutely fanfreakingtabulous! Excellent customer service, waitress was super nice and friendly! Was there for my Birthday Lupper (Combination of lunch/supper) this afternoon! The menu is small but that is awesome, hence the perfection of the meal! We had truffle parmesean crisps OMGGOODNESS to die for and my friend had the Butterchicken bowl she loved it she said it had a nice little spice to it and I had the haddock n chips! Beautifully lightly battered in a beer batter that was so light and crispy perfectly cooked! The chips were so tasty and crisp beautifully seasoned and gravy was delicious, amazing coleslaw! Then the waitress informs us there is a free desert due to it being my Birthday...well Trixie was all in on that lol even though we were so full and extremely pleased alrealy we gave in and oredered the dirt pie...OMGoodness sooooo scrumpdillicious but even splitting it between us, neither could finish it and I had already had the remainder of my Lupper in a carry out container. I am a super picky eater but I'm telling you this has been my favorite Restaurant in all of Red Deer to eat! My fiancé and I come here minimum 2x a month. It’s our go to restaurant. Amazing drinks, we love the old fashioned’s. Tonight was the exception. My steak wasn’t medium rare, I didn’t say anything even though it was medium. However our server Joanna was too busy talking to the other server and the bartender to serve us on a Monday night during a snow storm and a restaurant 3/4 empty. We wanted dessert, she didn’t come back to check on us. My fiancé attempted 2x to wave at her to flag her down. Got up to leave and she came to get us the cheque. We mentioned we wanted to order more food we got the fake oh I’m sorry guys apology which we both knew was fake. I had dinner in Red Deer with my daughter at State and Main. We should have left the restaurant when the two guys beside us walked out because they weren’t getting served or even given a menu. The worst came at the end of our meal we were having lemon and tea when the waitress spilled beer down the back of my daughters sweater. After speaking to the manager my daughter was not offered a meal on the house but rather blamed that it was her fault that she stood up and bumped the waitress. My daughter never moved her chair. We were sipping our hot water engage in a conversation. I am hoping the manger checks her cameras. The waitress spilled a hole can of beer down her back. It was an awful experience and a awful experience with this manager. I would not recommend this particular restaurant in Red Deer. Terrible service.
