OPA! of Greece Taylor Plaza — Restaurant in Red Deer

The following review was posted during previous management: Outstanding service! I've been coming here for years - no other OPA! compares to this location for service, warm and friendly staff, and without exception, welcoming, cheerful smiles.

My work schedule changed a year ago and I've had to change to calling my orders in ahead of time since then due to my time constraints. The moment I walk in the door, the staff recognize me and have my order already punched in the till when I reach the front of the line. The food is always ready when I get there, food portions are always perfect - they never skimp, and they are always consistent in size.

The restaurant is always clean, and I never hear an argument or complaint from the staff. I have never been treated rudely, and I've watched as the same consistent service is provided to every other customer.

I've been to several OPA! locations and this one has all other locations beat in all areas, hands down.

I commend all of the staff here for your unwaveringly postive and cheerful attitudes, smiles, and hard work. You've created a great atmosphere at this location and your customers appreciate that. Thank you!

We are a family who orders in from Opa on average once a month. We just ordered food from gasoline alley site. Needless to say we will not going to be going back there, they serving portions are not fair. On the other hand, after this experience I just wanted to come back and say how much we appreciate you as a team on Taylor site. I realize that we have been coming to you as a family of three over 7 years as our kid is that now. And we have never been disappointed by your service and the portions we receive for our platters. The gentlemen who has been working there for years and a father of multiple children is an exceptional worker. From work ethics to customer service : the smile, the memory for his customers and serve what we ask for is amazing. The whole team seems to figure it out. I wish I could remember the name of the young man that helped us earlier this evening, he was fantastic!! He was friendly, up beat, and seemed genuinely enthusiastic about serving us. He made sure to ask about any extras we might need or want and he made sure to read our order back to us to be certain it was correct. When he handed us our order he asked if we needed napkins and/or utensils. We laughed and said yes please we just moved here and our stuff is all packed still. He gave us a few extra of each and said "here...in case you need them". Such a simple gesture but so thoughtful!! We will certainly be going back to this location!! What a wonderful overall experience we had....and of course, the food was amazing 👏🏼. Love Opa and loving Red...
