My wife and I received a $50 gift card for Xmas which was for Tiffany's in Red Deer. We used the card last evening 2019-01-24. We both ordered chicken meals. I had the Chicken Oscar with vegetables and a twice baked potato. I ordered a beer with my meal (Stella). The server brought my beer first. I was surprised that it was from the tap in a glass and immediately requested a bottle. The server told me that I should have been more specific when ordering (REALLY) and by the way they charged me $9.00 for beer. My twice baked potato came with a cheese topping. It did not look very appetising (it looked like overcooked Cheese Whiz). I requested a plain baked potato instead. The server brought it in small dish and to my surprise it was very hot. The mixed vegetables comprised broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, zucchini and lots of red onions. All of these veggies were ice cold. Asparagus was listed on the menu as a feature of the dish. I expected more than two spears. About 3 inches of each spear was the woody bottom portion that no one ever eats. I told the server about the very cold veggies and she just looked at me and proceeded to do nothing as she walked away. Having ordered the Chicken (lump) Oscar, I could hardly find any of it on my plate. The Chicken was well cooked and moist.
My wife ordered the Honey Balsamic Chicken. All of her veggies were cold as well including the overabundance of red onions. Her asparagus consisted of 4 one-inch stem pieces, not even one piece of a tip. Her baked potato was good and hot but it was very small. She described her chicken as OK.
We did not bother with dessert.
The server actually had the gaul to ask me how everything was. I told her that she could read my review...
Read moreFirstly, service was decent. Our server was nice, however the girl who poured our water was not pleasant, and came back a few minutes later and took forks and knives off of our table, reaching right in front of us whilst talking.
Ordered bacon wrapped scallops, they were as fishy and rubbery as youd expect. As you know, Alberta is close to the ocean lol.
Steak I ordered had 0 sear on it, and was seasoned weirdly. Texture of a wet baseball glove. Mixed veg were just from Monsieur Wongs, and really didnt fit on the plate as they were just chinese food veggies. Baked potato was decent
They had good water!
Decor is weird? This place feels like its trying to do upscale and homely. There are chandeliers all over, yet the pendant lights over the table seem more fit for a Nandos than this place. They clash hard. Booth seats had rips in them like an old lazyboy too, and the paintings seemed like the decorator just walked into the painting aisle at Homesense and just grabbed all the abstract prints, regardless of color.
Overall, just save your $80 and go visit that lady Wendy down the street. She never...
Read moreI was excited to order from here because I hadn't eaten here for years. Wish I didn't. The pictures are of my beefsteak tomato and onion salad, with chicken, Wich is extra. So I paid after tax almost 30$ for this salad. The " feta" is cut up chunks of mozza cheese!!! I received maybe 1/3rd of a chicken breast if that, and the salad was sent with the dressing on it already so soggy and wilted. The flavour of chicken is actually quite good but this was a complete waste of money, and trying to say mozza is feta is absolutely ridiculous and very shady. My boyfriend had the 62$ Louisiana rib-iye, flavour was good but the steak was very mediocre and chewy. We called before it was delivered to see if there was veggies included and the staff was short rude and annoyed to be of any service. We were told our meal was packed already and they weren't sure but there should be!!?? That ended up being a chunk of broccoli and cauliflower and 2 carrot pieces. Very dissatisfied. Not worth the money at all. I could have gotten this level of food from a middle...
