Newest review (June 2022) Food is good but the service can be a lot friendlier. The staff still don't smile or thank you.

(Nov 2021): The service was okay the last time, and they didn't forget the sauce, but they still didn't seem too happy. The owner's response below to my review is just disrespectful. It's my experience and there were other customers who left some comments too and calling them "fake news" is just childish. (June 2021) Last couple of times, the donairs have been disappointing. They might have forgotten the sauce on the last donair I got. The service has also become less friendly (different staff than before). The current staff didn't seem happy. Reading someone else's review below, it seems the owner might be mistreating the staff and maybe their morale is down. (original review after they opened) Did not realize it's a fast food style franchise. Thought it was a pub-like local restaurant. Pretty good food and service. Got a large bowl with extra meat and it was smaller than expected, especially for the price, but it was fresh and still good. Poutine choices looked interesting. Maybe donairs & gyros might be better...

I called and asked if they still had vegan poutines, and the person answering checked with a coworker, so I figured I was safe. I ended up paying $17 for a big poutine made with mozzarella and gravy that has dairy in it, with giant chunks of veggies on it. I called to ask if the cheese was vegan, and they said they only had regular mozzarella. I asked to pick up another order of fries to replace my meal (I didn't trust anything else there) and the employees didn't seem to want to help me because they did not take my info, or offer a meal next time or gift card or anything. I was also on a work break, so I went to get my fries and they asked if I wanted to talk to their boss, but the boss were busy on the phone. I was in a rush and just wanted to get away from there. You would think anyone working with food would at least know what vegan means by now, but we are in central Alberta so I'm not surprised. The fries were gross, and the whole thing a waste of my time and money. I wish they would have seemed like they had any concern with the fact that I spent so much money on food that I couldn't eat. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bedford I must say it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance. The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable making me feel right at home.

One standout dish that I couldn't get enough of was their donair . The combination of flavors and textures was simply outstanding. It was evident that only the finest ingredients were used in its preparation.

What truly impressed me was their commitment to sourcing local sustainable ingredients. They have integrated eco-friendly practices into their operations which is something I deeply appreciate as a conscious consumer.

To top it all off the service at bedford was impeccable. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of wonderful.
