If I could give this restaurant negative stars I would. My husband and I went here for a late night meal after getting out of an all day conference. We went through the drive through, ordered a number 4 meal and 2 junior cheeseburger deluxes, grabbed our food and headed back to the hotel. Fries were fine - fresh even so that’s ONE positive. I was starving and scarfed down my first junior cheeseburger without even thinking about it. As I bit into my second one however, I looked down and realized my burger patty was completely pink on the inside - not slightly, COMPLETELY. My husband pulled his apart realized that his burger was the same so we drove back and were ushered up to the window where we explained the situation to the woman who must have been the night manager; she just grabbed the bag we handed over and went to the back without any words to us - no apology, no explaining that she would fix it, no ASKING us what we would like to do in lieu. She comes back nearly 5 minutes later and hands us a fresh bag - again, with no words or apologies.... ???? .... lady you just fed me RAW meat, I’m not interested in another burger. I told her I would rather not have another burger (and regardless of my disgust I was nice about it) and explained that I would rather have a salad. She told me she couldn’t do it because of the price difference ($5 compared to $1.40) to which I responded (admittedly with a little heat) “you just fed me raw meat and you can’t give me a salad to amend the situation?!” .... THEN she started arguing with me that the meat wasn’t really raw and that they use a clamshell system which only releases once the meat is fully cooked.... are you kidding?! did you look at that burger lady?! There is no mistaking that that is indeed completely, unequivocally, RAW. I opted not to take anything from them after the argument. Victor decided to chance his replacement burger - he hadn’t stuffed his face with one raw patty already so he was still famished - but get this!!!!.... remember I said he had discovered his was raw on round one as well? He had ripped a corner off the patty to check... we got back to the hotel again, he unwraps his “replacement” burger and discovers a missing corner on the patty!!!! They took a burger patty that didn’t just leave their hands, it left the premises, and put it back on their grill with everyone else’s “fresh” patties!!!! I’ve never felt so disgusted with a restaurant and their food safe practices - not to mention their lack of customer service or remorse...
Read moreBOO to Wendy's, waited longer than usual. Line was not that long. The order was wrong for a simple couple meals andded dessert(Choc frostee). AKA; BAD MISTAKE for each and a drink for each..4 items in total for each meal 5 ppl in total=20 items and a poutine...so 21... In a rush.i did not stop and take an inventory of the 3 large bags and a tiny bag. Presumably the kids meal. Upon arrival at home kids meal bag was 2 small fries....not ordered at all....1-burger missing totally,1 -burger wrong 1- poutine with litterly no gravy to the point the several bits of nasty unmelted I'm guessing. So called cheese curds.were a pitiful display. No kids meal besides the 2 small fries and hey..got an extra mess of fries dumped in on one bag though. Melted frostee's were my fault. But a nice total price for the wait...then dissatisfied, I called..n called..n called..now mad I actually write to the head office customer care /SERVICE DEPT.. they reply in a nice generic letter stating so sorry someone will be in touch..so I wait...n wait...unlike drive through...I WAIT MONTHS..its to the point of saying someone will be in touch...After I write cpl more times they ignored me n I gave up. But,I actually like Wendy's food over others and forgive..confident restored after a couple of small correct orders...I again in a rush did not take a bag inventory. Also pleased with my earlier cake pick up for dessert...I rush home to another blunder....the process was repeated except I sent a cpl more letters without a reply from them...so...now...to all those who wait behind me as I sit at that. Window double checking every single thing..including my receipt ...I APPOLOGIZE TO YOU....FOR THERE RUDENESS,LACK OF RESPONSE, WHO CARES ABOUT 1CUSTOMER ATTITUDE....but ..since childhood. I..we..as individuals/now families.made these fast food/fast service/drive thru get screwed outta a couple bucks here n there places ...we pay your salarys. So smile do your job, double,triple check...cover your co workers .work...to ensure .the best service...used to be that way...in my jobs...I've thrown free bees in n smiled at a customer....just for you ...that person walked away feeling special..n will always come back...n probably..overlook a mistake or an extra minute of waiting...an still walk away satisfied though. If your doing it.do it right.do it once.!! Like it...
Read moreOne of the more awkward drive thru experiences I've had. Upon arrival through the speaker they asked me if I wanted to try something (could not understand what they said) I said no thank you, complete silence after that until I gave my order, silence again for around a minute or two, so I said "hello?" then the lady repeated my order. I get to the paying window the girl shoved a debit machine at me, I told her I was paying in cash and she rolled her eyes at me and snatched it out of my hand. Next window to get my food, the girl there was just blankly starring at me and said nothing while she aggressively shoved the food and drinks at me and immediately closed the window, there was no line, I was the only person in the drive thru at that time. The service quality has plummeted immensely the last few visits I've had here, while the other wendy's on gaetz is a lot more of a pleasant drive thru experience and MUCH friendlier staff. I have not a clue why they are employing people here who have zero respect or social skills....
