Wendy's — Restaurant in Red Deer

Tonight at 10:50 Sept.15 th , I called to complain about my chilli baked potato. As the spoonful of chilli put on there didn’t have meat on it and only a few kidney beans. I was told I was talking to the manager which is sad because they ended the convo by hanging up saying okay lady very rudely. They wouldn’t answer when I called back . I’m actually quite sad about this costumer service because it’s the worst of 2024. I’ve been coming to this location for over a decade and needless to say my loyalty will absolutely be ending here. Just cause your chilli is made with meat doesn’t mean you gave me a hearty spoonful of chilli . It was all sauce with a few kidney beans. Why would I call and complain if I had enjoyed it. I don’t mind mistakes because we’re human, you guys just treated me like you were a bunch of junior high kids.I’m actually almost in tears. I rarely give bad reviews because i always give people the opportunity to fix the situation. Normally everyone does without issue and with kindness. A rating of 1 is actually high for the service we just got at this location. We were placing our order and about 90% done it the manager/supervisor came over and said it would be all done breakfast after this one. We finished our order and then she came back and said that we could have all the breakfast meals except the last one! We had already started the last one when she came the first time and when we told her that she was rudely insistent that We would NOT get the entire order of breakfast we ordered. We reiterated the fact that we had the order already almost done and all she did was roll her eye and walk away. She was extremely rude, and not only to us as guests but to the Nice girl who was Actually taking our order. If she is a manager/ supervisor I hate to think the way the rest of the staff at this location is treated on a regular basis. As far as I’m concerned this woman should be absolutely NoWhere near the customer service industry and is a disgrace to the Customer service...

I had a bad day one day, my friend and I had been driving back home to blackfalds when my friend had realised we were almost out of gas. We turned around and tried to cut through the dealership's lot but we ran completely out of gas. We had to push the car all the way to the dairy Queen parking lot. We walked into this Wendy's and we were freezing cold. I asked to speak to the manager, Brandon, and asked if there was anything small we could possibly have. Both my friend and I were very hungry as we hadn't eaten at all that day and Brandon seemed to understand that. He personally made us 2 jr. Bacon cheeseburgers and gave us 2 small drinks for free. As small as the gesture was it will forever be a memory for my friend and I and we will never forget Brandon's kindness and sympathy. Thank you so much. This Wendy's is from now on the only fast food place I will ever eat from for as long as I live and I will guarantee that.
