A&W — Restaurant in Regina

This is one of the best fast food places in the city and I'm basing that mostly on the fact that the food is always hot when you get it. There are few things as disappointing as a cold burger or breakfast sandwich and I've never gotten that here. I dont mind waiting a little if it means the food tastes hot and fresh. That being said they are still pretty fast and the couple times I've waited have been minimal but worth it. The coffee is always hot enough I have to let it cool a bit.....and I love that. Staff are always friendly which is great to. Pulled at their drive-through at 11:45 pm. I had called the store and told them that I am coming in five minutes prior to coming at the store. It is understandable they need to close 15 minutes early for whatever reasons. But what I really did not like was the fact that there were staff members standing inside, and we could clearly see them and they saw us pulling in too. They did not even bother to answer the drive-through that they have closed or are about to close and therefore cannot take our order. The store lights were lit at 'driver thru now open' so we waited 5-10 minutes and when we got no response,we eventually left. We just went a while ago and the burger we had requested wasn't made properly. We kindly asked one burger without mustard and one with ketchup and mayo but to our surprise it seems they even put extra amount of mustard in the burger which is very frustrating. It wasn't a pleasant experience here but doesn't mean we won't be back especially if no choice, however we won't be ordering any burgers anymore.
