Afghan Cuisine Restaurant — Restaurant in Regina

I ordered from this restaurant on skip the dishes, delivery was fine but when I ordered it was 90$ for a dinner for 4 I expected a lot of food and nice spices and flavored , they even said three different kinds of kebabs, well I was wrong, very wrong, I received two different types of rice, both extremely bland , the majority of the meal was rice , also the kabobs , small bite sized pices yes, I understand what a kabob is, but these were about equivalent to on chicken breast for two kabobs maybe half a steak and half a pound of hamburger meat which tasted of mostly bread and egg, it came with some other tomatoes dish that I didn't prefer o, other might, and a small container of sauce, for 90$ , I cook a lot and I know that the ingredients used in this probably didn't cost them more than 10$ , for 90$ I can feed 8 to 10 people kabobs and rice, complete and utter rip off I will never order here or ever recommend this place, I would even go out of my way to warn people of this place , there my rant is done, I am...

Quite frankly, I didn’t believe all the reviews about this place, but I found out they were true. Really really friendly inviting people willing to work with you to make this an enjoyable meal- regardless of your experience with this type of food. I will definitely be going back to experience more of their tasty dishes and incredible service. So happy I went here!

Edit- I went back again today (only 3 days after above review) and was treated to an absolutely incredible “beef kacchi biryani” (probably not spelled anywhere near correctly) dish that was easily the best meal I’ve had in a few years! I’ve had great Indian Biryani but this was on another level for me. So good! And such incredibly friendly, helpful service again too - I’m pinching myself, WOW! I’m dying to go back again...

Phenomenal! I don't know much about Afghan cuisine but with all those bursts of flavour and spices, I'd like to believe its authentic. Very very delicious. The meats were very juicy and tender, and the salad very fresh. I was told that they make their own desserts here but got too full to try any. Instead we ordered green and black tea which was strong in cardamom and cinnamon flavours in a good way. Also, our server, whom I think is the owner, wore a mask, sat customers at least one table away from each other, and wiped the card machine which means they're following safety measures during this difficult time.
