So... Where to start? I've permanently removed 2 Regina McDonalds restaurants from my list of eateries, south Albert, harbour landing, and now I'm adding acre 21. I thought I'd figured out the terrible ordering experience at the till and drive-thru, by opting for the app instead. I've been to this location 3 times previous, using the app to order, and had a mediocre experience. On this trip, the 4th, I ordered three breakfast sandwiches and went inside to pick them up (the drive-thru is a nightmare). It looked like everything was in order so I drove home. Everybody has their sandwich and seamed happy, then we opened them and the chicken sandwich was missing chicken... I returned to the restaurant with the "chicken" sandwich in hand, went to the weird pick up counter and waited for service. Sahil, the manager, greeted me with a confused look (no words), so I opened the sandwich and showed him the issue. He maintained the confused look because who wouldn't, and promptly had the kitchen make another. The replacement was out in moments so I decided to inspect (shouldn't it take a few minutes to cook the patty?). I opened it up with Sahil watching and noticed, yes, there was indeed chicken in it. Sahil looked relieved and immediately walked away. I went to re-wrap and noticed the English muffin was hard as a rock... I called him back, showed him and was kind of lost for words. He asked for a 3rd from the kitchen, "a fresh one" this time. After waiting an appropriate amount of time, the 3rd sandwich emerged from the back, we opened it together, and while I pondered the literally tossed together wilted mess, Sahil looked relieved it contained chicken and the bun wasn't a rock, and again, immediately walked away. I stood there until it was uncomfortable (for me. I was actually embarrassed for McDonalds), asked Sahil his name, then left. The pictures attached include the state of the chicken sandwich on the 3rd triumphant attempt. We basically remade it at home after the dissection. I'm pretty sure people only go to McDonalds because it's convenient and predictable. For most of my life, I've received a consistent product. Not great, but consistent. Not here.
Also, if you've obviously dropped the ball, you should probably try and make it up to your customers before they leave angry. They might leave an honest...

Drive S4V 3P7 Regina , SK Store # 40734 Orders always delayed , Lots of time order is not correct ... don't know why .. is it hard to find well trained staff to rely on .. ?? I guess that location needs a higher supervision from Franchise HO unless they don't care ... they'll be thinking no one will stop eating from McDonald's... I have to go to that location because very near to my house ... Today my experience at supper time 5:11 pm mobile order 2138 I chose to pick up my order at the front desk , thought it will be faster because my kid has a practice at 5:30 I went inside , I saw my order number on the screen under "in progress column) : the staff member came to the front remove the receipts from the printer and he cleared all orders under the progress sign .. so the system will not gonna read the orders as delayed ( oh... WOW !!!!! ) now the receipts are all hanging on top of their prep area inside , and of course the staff from drive thru are adding receipts to that pile and now one of the supervisor helping with orders and 2 staff members working everywhere and ....... we are waiting .... my sandwich was ready may be at 5:15 but I took my order 5:25 pm , and it was ready just need an organized person to maintain the pile.of orders and execute them in a proper order Anyway please please ... find a solution ... Read moreI live in the neighborhood so I go to this location frequently. If it wasn’t so close I would probably go to a different location. Orders seem to be wrong more often than they’re right and bags are overstuffed frequently (to the point that I have had them break at the seams carrying them on the way from my car to my house). Example:
April 5, 2020: Ordered breakfast at ~10:35 am. Was told that they were waiting on fresh hashbrowns. The employee asked me politely to pull to the next window, which I did. I waited at that window for a minute or so and was given my food only to find that they had forgotten to put the hashbrowns in.
March 12, 2022: Ordered breakfast this morning and was only given one of the three hashbrowns that I ordered. When I notified the workers they responded that “all of them were in the bag”. I assured them that they weren’t and they brought the missing two hashbrowns. I didn’t even mention the fact that there was no cutlery, butter, or syrup for my pancakes or that one of the breakfast sandwiches that I ordered was not even wrapped in a wrapper, it was just placed on one and thrown into the bag or the fact that I ordered Sausage and Egg McMuffins and they only provided me with Sausage McMuffins.
This is the closest McDonalds to my house so I unfortunately go here often, but if you have the choice avoid it. If you do find yourself at this location make sure you check to make sure your order is correct and be prepared to deal with very defensive workers...
