Generally I avoid McDonald's because of the high levels of sugars in everything they touch, but this "place" gave me an entirely different reason to avoid McDonald's especially this one!! The drive thru service was abrupt, almost bordering on an inconvenience for them to service us. The food arrived relatively about the same time as all McDonald's orders do, 5 to 10 mins when there are more then 5 people being served...and incorrectly! Five sandwiches, two fries, and three drinks...46 dollars. What arrived was 4 sandwiches, three fries, and 3 drinks...short one big mac (the signature burger) and a bonus fries. We went inside to get our order and show the error...no receipt but we have an order number...so that should work!
Now the fun begins! Cashier doesn't even care that they made an error, and without even looking at the order info in the system, orders our Big Mac, no apology, no feedback, just accept that this is routine for this place, order us whatever they missed and next "customer" As we wait with the line up of people waiting for orders (two other customers) I decide I'm going to order one of those 7 dollar, double fillet o fish sandwiches...20 mins later my sandwich arrives!!
I don't know where the customer service went, or the smiles, or even the "friendly" feel to McDonald's went but it wasn't even in the same time zone as this place! Everyone has a bad day, but if your going to make one person wait 20 minutes for one sandwich at least smile and be friendly!! Management needs to "review" the adults (not elderly, and not teenagers) they have "working" for them! The system is broken at this place and although I'm sure they still make a killing, you can't have a solid reputation for long!    Read moreEvery 6 months or so I go back here, after apparently forgetting how brutal the service is. I have never, and I mean never, had a drive through order from this location that wasn't missing food. The girl taking the order made about 100 mistakes but we had it all sorted out. Read it back to each other several times. The language barrier didn't help, as when I asked "Do you have all of that?" She replied with "We don't have any salads"...
So I got to the first window, and got them to read back my order and we verified again. All good. Good to the second window and I was about to be handed someone else's order. Advised them that it was wrong and told them what my order was. I was asked to park up ahead and they would bring mine out, which never ends up being a positive experience. They brought it out a few minutes later and I headed straight home so I could get the kids eating. Once again, I am missing food from my order. I know McDonald's doesn't hire rocket scientists, and this is probably what I get for ordering fast food, but come on people. Figure it out. Even smaller details like including straws with the smoothies. Are my kids supposed to just pop the lit off and pour it all over themselves?

   Read moreWeird stuff happens here. I know, itâs a McDonaldâs. How good or bad could it be? When itâs good, itâs good. When itâs bad, itâs really bad. Iâve had a burger end up with cheese on the outside while the other burger in the order was normal (see picture). Recently, I was in the drive thru and told to wait in that weird little area to the left after the drive thru since the two drive thru spots were full. I waited about 20 minutes and watched an employee deliver food to people in the actual spots 3 or 4 times without ever even coming to check on me. I got frustrated and went inside. There were tons of people standing around with no employee to help in sight. I went back to the drive thru and actually walked up to the window saying hey Iâve been waiting 20 minutes what the heck and it turned out they completely forgot about me. They apologized but didnât offer any kind of discount or voucher for a future order. They regularly forget to add sauces and fries and just generally mess up the orders kind of a lot, even for a McDonaldâs. The only hand dryer in the womenâs bathroom has been broken for months and there are no paper towels or other options to dry your hands in there.
