I drove 90min in to Regina to pick up my husband and daughter as they were returning from a trip. It was about 10:15pm, and I needed to use the washroom and was going to grab a coffee and a snack for the drive home. Walked in and a sign on the washroom said "ask for key at counter". So I stood in line and waited to ask for a key, finally got to the counter and was told "we close our washrooms at 10pm". I explained the situation and how far I had driven and the robot at the counter w/o a shred of empathy refused me access to the bathroom. She told me if she made an acception for me she would have to make an acception for everyone. There should be no acception needed, its a human right. Spent some time digging into laws and restaurants are REQUIRED to have washrooms available to patrons. I WILL be making a call to the Sask Health Authority Inspectors office and reporting this. And I will NEVER spend another dime in another Tim Horton's for as long as I live. I understand controlling access to a degree in the neighborhood this Tim's is in, but complete refusal when you are serving food and drink is unacceptable and reprehensible. You think you are preventing issues.... this will likely cause an issue or confrontation with someone less merciful than I in the future, not preventing issues but actually endangering your staff by making them enforce this outrageous and barbarian policy. Tim's has lost my business.... Starbucks here I come..... and I drink a copious amount...
Read moreWas a great place to go to but I've had nothing but bad service in the last year or two. Consistently getting the orders wrong and have no sense of priority in their drive thru. I was trying to order something off the menu and the employee tried rushing me and told me she was taking the next cars order. All of this happened within 15 seconds after i pulled up to the speaker. I guess you can't look at a menu without be rushed and thrown aside to wait another 5 minutes. When you're told it will take 5 seconds to order you should wait. Every other Tim Hortons I've gone to waits a little bit atleast before helping someone else. I don't mind the wait but atleast give me more than 15 seconds to decide. They can also never hire people who seem optimistic. All I get are grunts and vague "your welcome" at this location.
Would recommend taking the time to go to a...
