Absolutely disgusted by the level of service we received from this place on a delivery order. After waiting a full hour for our delivery, It's we were told would be about 35 to 40 minutes, we called back to the restaurant just to have them say their driver just got there and our food was on its way. upon arrival. over a 1/2 hour after this, the food looked as though it was thrown together with old veggies and looked as though and it had been half eaten already.. Burger appeared to have a bite out of it and there were very little fries after paying for a side order of fries. Got into quite a disturbing confrontation with the little driver and send him on his way Without paying. we were that upset that what the way things turned out.. We called the store and hopefully the manager will return our call back to us tomorrow

The Spicy Popper burger is a delicious and flavorful combination of ingredients. The 6 oz prime rib patty provides a savory and succulent base for the rest of the ingredients. Shredded cheese adds a creamy and melty texture, while the jalapeno adds a spicy kick. The onion rings add a crunchy texture and a sweet and savory flavor. The crispy fried jalapeno adds even more heat and crunch. Altogether, the Spicy Popper burger is a feast for the senses and a perfect choice for anyone who loves bold and spicy flavors. Thanks Vrusha for the awesome service! We will definitely go back to this place!

Hidden gem... Greeted with a warm welcome on a cold evening ( extremely cold). The sign does not give this spot justice. It is nice & cozy inside with a fireplace, seating area & even booths. Paintings and warm art decor. Love the airplanes over the bar area. Also has ATM and VLTs to gamble. Tried french onion soup and grilled cheese & ham sandwich with fries & happy result.. Also has kids menu. 2017 Feb. 8

If I could give them NO stars, I would. Horrible food, horrible service (or lack of it!), horrible prices and horrible atmosphere to eat in. First, we were led to the back room. We should have known by the lack of people, that others were smarter than us. The previous owners were quite good people who kept the restaurant clean and while not busy, we thought it must have been sold due to Covid. The waitress (who could NOT speak even functional English) took our orders. Oh, I should mention that she offered us water….. with ice….. as if we wanted it without ice?!? I ordered the boneless ribs. (My partner’s food was -although over-priced - fine). Keep in mind that this was at 6:30 pm. The ribs were listed as an entrée for $20.95. I thought it strange that the waitress didn’t even ask whether I wanted (??) salad dressing, or what kind. Well, that’s because I never GOT a salad! No salad, no fries, no garlic toast, as was clearly stated in their menu. Just a plate full of ribs. Overcooked and cold. When I asked about where the French fries were, I was told that no; they didn’t come with fries! After my jaws were tired from chewing those tough, overcooked and tasteless ribs, I would have LOVED something else to go with them, but the waitress was no where to be found! We caught up with her when she was exiting the washroom and we asked for a menu (to “fact check”) and then again when we paid for our meals. We pointed out that there was no salad, fries and toast and that at 6:30 at night; I didn’t want an appetizer! And that the menu did not even HAVE it listed as an appetizer! AND that to expect me to eat only meat was UNHEALTHY, and just plain WRONG! We couldn’t even tell her to her face, because she WASN'T THERE for the majority of the time! But she was there to give us the bill! NO, NO, NO! NEVER AGAIN! When I have to come home and make myself a meal, we’ll, that just says something about Pinocchio’s restaurant. STAY...

I tried the Chow Local app and decided to give Pinochio Pizza a go and got a deep dish pizza with wings. Placed my order through the app with the option to pay in-store. I've never been there before, even though I used to live 2 minutes away..and now I live all the way out south. The place is nice, classic old 70s...lol..but clean and well maintained. Paid for my order with debit ..and...had to pay the tip again. There may have been the option to not but I couldn't spot it. To be really honest, I didn't mind because the woman at the front that got my order was super enthusiastic about telling me more about their menu, was helpful informing me one of my desserts wasn't available and helped me pick a new one...and....she was absolutely super cute. The food ... The pizza is pretty good, nice flavour, fully cooked, it was a classic good pizza ..can't go wrong. The wings were a disappointment. For 2 orders of wings I would have anticipated more than 5 each for a total of 10 wings. I got BBQ flavoured...not bad but pretty low to average for notability. I got a carrot cake for dessert...pretty thin slice and layers themselves are kind of thin. The icing was light, not a good thick cream cheese icing but passable...just though a little bigger slice for the $ would be nice. Overall, I'd say it was a good experience and decent food for the money. The 2 guys running the show seemed nice enough but the woman at the front was the clincher. Enthusiasm for the job, helpful, really good attitude all cone together for an employee a business like this can be...

Having lived in the neighbourhood for a few years Pinocchio Pizza was a regular for my family. I moved outside of the city and as a treat when my wife was inside the city she bought pizza and ribs and brought them home. From what I can tell since the new management took over things have gone way down hill. What used to be one of the best places in the city I will probably never order from again.

My wife ordered a Canadian (Ham, mushrooms and bacon) and there was no bacon, and they used mushrooms that was either sitting in water or that they sautee'd for burgers because they oozed all over the pizza and the bottom crust, turning it black where they cut the pizza.

The crust was barely browned, so with the leaky mushrooms it turned the crust into a mush that was uneatable. Also the ribs were plain, no lemon, no dip and supremely overcooked.

Unfortunately we did not realize this until she got home otherwise we would have returned it. Its sad to see one of the better pizza places in the city...
