I went to just get a bottle of soda, which I have done multiple times. Its not even about the price, its about the principle. And when I went to pay I noticed that the price of the soda had gone up, I didn't question it then as I had to get back to work but I did ask for the receipt, which the manager was surprised to hear. I looked once I was back at work and saw that the price of their soda had not changed, but instead he had pre-entered a tip amount. Now I usually tip food workers when I get food, but I don't when I only get a bottled soda. I have never had someone just blatantly do that. The option to tip still came up on their monaris machine and I looked at the total on the till screen, which said the higher amount, so no I didn't "accidentally" tip. So not impressed with that. I understand why you may not want to allow the use of the microwave for non paying customers but after spending 30 dollars on food for 3 people, don't give us the excuse of not using the microwave because of cross contamination.

Your employees use the microwave for their own food, are they contaminating the microwave?

If an individual is in a group of paying customers and that individual has special dietary restrictions such as Celiac Disease and you refuse to heat that individual's rice, you are turning away future business by the other customers who did get something, you have made it awkward for the other customers, myself included.
