McDonald's — Restaurant in Riverview

I no longer go to this location. They have an extremely rude person there who I will no longer deal with. I go to McDonald's and usually buy 2 apple pies (don't judge me 😂) as a treat.

I went to their drive thru and asked for 2 apple pies and this woman said "We have no fresh apple pies" so I innocently asked if they had any older ones left. Then she gruffly replied "You wouldn't like them" which surprised me as I was polite to her. I explained to her I just take them home and microwave them later which seemed to enrage her and she sternly replied "We have NO apple pies". I was shocked at how rude this woman is.

Since I wanted the pies I drove across the river to the West Main Street location. I asked for two apple pies and the girl said "Unfortunately they'll be about 8 minutes" so I told her that would be fine, I was willing to wait, so she said OK come to the window.

Still shocked about the Riverview incident I told the woman what happened and she told me they always have pies and can put some in if the customer wants to wait. My jaw dropped.

I have made 4 subsequent visits to the Riverview location because I live here. The first a young man served me and I got 2 apple pies no problem. The next two tries I got that woman taking my order and both times she told me they have no apple pies quite rudely, I will add.

Today my daughter asked me to pick up a Big Mac for her on my way home it was on my way home, so I pulled to the double drive thru. There was one car in the inside lane already ordering so I pulled to the menu board on the outside lane. That same woman was working. She said just a moment please and I said no problem so she continued to take the other order. A truck pulled in on the inside lane and when the first car started away he started to pull up but due to the lineup he only got the front of his truck on the pad.

I was stunned when she asked for his order while she obviously knew I was there. The man had to shout his order hanging out his window because he hadn't reached the speaker.

I would have left but couldn't escape the drive thru. I ordered the hamburger for my daughter, paid and left.

I'll never go to this store again. I think she recognizes my voice and somehow considers me not worthy of her service.

I'm not sure if the store will find a way to resolve this and I'll likely never know because I have never been so poorly treated, on repeat occasions, as I have at the McDonalds in Riverview.

They are not worthy of me subsidizing the wages of that awful person.

I'll go to West Main. They don't have people there who shouldn't be serving fellow human beings. Good luck but good riddance Riverview location

I finally took the time to get on this forum and do our review of the Riverview McDonalds. We always say we will never go through it again but we slip and do because it is so close to our house. We consistently get the wrong order, missing items, and the wrong pop and the wrong coffees. It is so frustrating; I have complained to the powers that be but never receive a reply and these days it’s expensive to even go there! And Skip the Dishes from McDonalds, well forget about that too! Consistently get the wrong food and “rarely” get our pop with the delivery. As of yesterday, have dumped Skip the Dishes too because our McDonalds delivery that arrived was again the wrong order, the driver took it back to the store and never returned! So we had nothing, had to fight to get the refund. It’s not rocket science, all these people have zero pride in their work and just don’t care. We are paying for this food, it’s not free. Even if you have a job at McDonalds you should still take pride in doing a good job. I’m not saying all the employees there are like this, I am positive there are good ones, but this location has a real problem and they really don’t care. We will never drive through there again; some days we do just drive over to the West Main St. location and we have NEVER had one error at...

To the managment of this mcdonalds please take note if you read this!! My previous review of this location was horrible and I was close to never going back. I am a very frequent customer here and I have probably spent enough money at this location in the last 5 years to put whoever owns this locations kids thru University. With that said I would like to tell you that you finally did it right hiring the new night manager. Thank god and thank Divanshu the new night manager! You should do as much as you can to make Divanshu very very happy and keep him at your location as he has saved it from my previously negative review, because of him, the food has been as I would expect and the service is much faster and the guy is always smiling and posative unlike previous years of employees . Finally you guys have the right man and because of Divanshu as your new night manager I will continue to spend far too much of my money at this location. Please do what you can to keep him as he a very hard working charasmatic manager unlike anyone who you guys had in previous years. Corperate if you see this you guys got a real one here please do what you can to keep him and I'll keep spending my money...
