Restaurant was clean and food was reasonably priced. We had a waitress, (Mah Li) who was undoubtedly the worst I have experienced in I can't remember. She had more tone in her voice than a politician. I am not accustom to bad mouthing the front line, but I was stunned. We asked about the red wines. She said she had no idea what size the glasses were. We ordered a certain wine and she brought us a refrigerated red that we later found out was the house not Californian as we ordered. I asked why it was refrigerated she said in a sarcastic voice that's how we serve it. She doesn't know. I ordered 1/2 spaghetti with salad. When she brought it without the salad, I asked her about it and she said that I never ordered it. Then she flipped through her orders and said oh ya and I said never mind, I will let it go. Later it was on the bill. I asked her why and she said that I didn't want it????? I am surprised after her denying I ordered it that she would now say, in accusing tone, well you said you didn't want it and it was left sitting over there. I said I am not paying $6. for a salad that you said that I didn't order. She reached into her apron and gave us back part of our tip money. My husband always tips and had already paid before I noticed. Bottom line, front employees, need better training, she acted like she was entitled and didn't want to wait on us. From the moment you step in, you're made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. No one greets you at the entrance. Instead, you're met with a rude, visibly annoyed manager who yells at you for choosing the "wrong" table — as if you’re a burden rather than a guest. The waitress couldn’t be bothered with basic manners — no “please,” no “enjoy your meal,” nothing. She literally dropped the dishes on the table while continuing a conversation with another customer, completely ignoring us. And the most shocking part? They were openly mocking English-speaking customers. If that’s how they treat people, they might as well hang a sign on the door saying, “We don’t serve English speakers.” We traveled through many provinces, and never have we felt so disrespected and unwanted. We opened the box in our room and the crust was so thin that it fell apart when we picked it up. All the toppings fell off as the crust couldn’t hold them. I returned to the restaurant and showed the girl and she said “yes, this is our fault” The manager came out and refused to give us back our money. He said they would never serve a pizza like this insinuating that I replaced the pizza from somewhere else? How ridiculous! He said the pizza was cooked fine and refused to give us our money back.
