A fantastic steakhouse where you’re greeted with professionalism and love for cooking and meat immediately upon entry. A wonder display of their aged meats greets you in both flanks as you walk in quickly followed by the greeter in both situations that I went. Jump to the bottom of my review for the meat of the review, pun intended.
I’ll also state I made an effort to splurge a little so be aware that my price per person is inflated by drinks and coffee and just opting for pricier cuts
The atmosphere is quiet and calm with cosy lighting and a relaxing environment. A glass wine tasting room and cellar/rack entices you.
Which is nothing compared to when you sit down. Drink menu first and foremost has a deliberate but varied selection with my favourite being the cocktail page at the end. The sour and the Montrealer are fantastic selections and with the average price being 10$ where most places make worse for more it’s a great start.
The servers I’ve had have been delightful and knowledgeable and are honestly a highlight of the experience. They elevated the experience and made it truly truly enjoyable. From the lady who served me when I first went in French and likewise on my second visit where I opted for English. I appreciated the sublime experience in both languages.
I’ve had chicken wings on both occasions and they are perfectly cooked, great sauce, portions and temperature.
Now the steak, having the steak is an experience that starts with a platter being carted out to you and the full selection being run through. Your opportunity during and after to ask questions and seek recommendations for your preferences and mood such as hunger levels for your meal.
Everything from sirloin to prime Japanese wagyu is on the table. As are strip loins, porterhouses, fillet Mignon (with or without bone!). Even a tomahawk steak.
The steak was perfectly cooked, I opted for the aged porterhouse so medium rare it was. Soft supple, surprisingly juicy with hints of hazelnut (byproduct of the blood drained 2-3 month aged meat)
My wife’s striploin cooked blue was equally fantastic especially not only offering blue upfront but doing it well too.
Sauces for both were rich and balanced. Potatoes (baked and mashed) were soft and flavourful and mushrooms were delicious and a great accompaniment.
Truly can’t recommend coming here for a good steak in any less words. An experience to be had to understand.
This review is long in the tooth so I won’t delve too much into the dessert and coffee section other than to say the platter experience with the meat was replicated with a great selection which offers a fantastic visual aid in helping you pick your finisher. Coffee was brewed well, I can only speak to the espresso I had which was rich and creamy with a great natural crema from being pulled properly.
Highly recommend after any Rosemère shopping trip or just for a good meal. You truly...
Read moreWent there for a supper last month and was very disappointed considering the price of things. I'll start off by saying the Tuscan Onion Soup was delicious, and that was the only good I ate that night. Had the Salmon Tartar as an entree, and boy was it missing any taste. Needed some acidity to help give it some flavor, be it a type of vinegar or even some lemon/lemon zest and it definitely needed some salt. A little piece of advice, don't have a small slice of Avocado all the way at the bottom. Either puree it and layer that as you build the tartar or have it diced and mixed in before plating. No idea why it's sitting at the bottom like that. For the main course I had the Herb Salmon plate, that came with some veggies. Once again, the salmon just tasted like salmon... nothing to appease the palette. And the veggies? A small yellow pepper, whole with seeds and everything, that a single vague grill line and was completely cold. A stick of carrot not really peeled, also barley cooked and was cold just like the others. A 1/3 of a piece of cucumber, once again cold. And the broccoli was in the same sorry state. Either grill them or steam them, or better yet have a nice selection of veggies sauté with a sauce that you can also baste the salmon with to give it some much needed flavor! Maybe if some of these things were reworked through in the kitchen, I'd consider giving it...

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the wonderful host, and the entire experience from start to finish was truly outstanding. The young woman who served us—whose name I sadly didn’t catch—was absolutely lovely. Despite saying her English wasn't strong, she spoke to us clearly and kindly in English throughout the evening, making sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Her attitude, attention, and genuine warmth were exceptional—it's rare to see such dedicated service.
Other staff members who assisted us were also incredibly friendly and professional. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. The meat was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, unforgettable. Every dish we tried was spectacular.
We left feeling completely delighted and are already dreaming of coming back. An excellent place with excellent food and even...
