Positive: fast service. Nice clean restaurant with a separate entrance for takeout. Classic vitnamese menu. Pho soup was good. Cons: $$$$ for what you get. Pho was more noodles with barely any meat (compared to the many other places I have reviewed).. Vietnamese friends bulk at the prices and how the dishes were made...$20 for regular sized pho for example. Noodles was over cooked and bloated. even though spring rolls was big, it was mostly noodles and way too $$$$ for what you get. Dried vernacelli noodles were prep/cut in a way that it was harder to use a chopstick than a fork...never seen my vietnamese friend gets mad at a dish... Overall, we were really disappointed, particularly with how the dishes were made and how expensive they were. At those prices, it should be better compared to others. Food for thought: The restaurant is still adjusting. Interior is tight with many chairs and tables as possible. Great for family and kids. Especially great for wheelchair accessible. We think this place was meant for certain demographics in mind, especially with broadmead lodge close by. Will return in a year to see if there is any improvement.

Had lunch here on Family Day. Place was about 2/3 full on a holiday Monday at lunchtime. My wife ordered shredded chicken Banh Mi and said it was really tasty. Great texture to the bread. Would absolutely order again. 5/5 I had the rare beef pho with spicy broth. It was pretty good, but nowhere close to my favourite spicy beef pho at Le Petit Saigon downtown (the gold standard). I needed to add a bit of the chili oil to get the spice level up. Even then, the broth was just OK. Good size bowl (regular size) was perfect for lunch. 3/5. So... I'll give this 4/5. Great to have this place in our neighbourhood! Will be back for sure to try some of the other menu items.

Read someone else’s review about getting beef instead of tofu. If this is tofu, UPDATE THE PHTOS ON YOUR WEBSITE! What I got also looks like beef and the picture on the website clearly looks like tofu squares. Would be great to also say on the website that it’s fake beef or something like that rather than soya chunks. Personally, as a vegetarian, I avoid meals that include food that looks or tastes like meat and would not have ordered this if accurately described on your site.

I was so excited about this new restaurant. I tried a noodle dish and salad roll with dipping sauce. They (lovely owners) informed me that there was no 'peanut' sauce as people have trouble with peanuts. The offered a coconut sauce ? - no taste and certainly not authentic Vietnamese that I believed I was ordering for thirty plus years. My noodle dish was also so not like ALL the V restaurants in Victoria. I fed t5he fish that dish . I was so disappointed. I am hoping (if they want to survive) and I WANT to !!! support you!! Please review your menu and inform us as to where it is actually antithetic and how to help me warm up to it. I will try again in a month or so with hope that you have listened. I so want to support you ! I love authentic Vietnamese food , and wish I didn't have to drive...

Longtime fan of the original Quadra Village location and their bun bo hue (spicy lemongrass noodle soup)! Glad to have a second spot in Broadmead, it's a nicely renovated space with separate entrances for dine in and takeout. The takeout window is attached to the kitchen, staff were very friendly.

I had the bbq pork banh mi for lunch and it was excellent. Baguette was warm and the right amount of crisp, pork was tasty, and pickled veggies were so good. Next time I'll ask for it with extra carrot & daikon! Overall it tasted really fresh.

I hope they do well here, it's a welcome addition to the neighbourhood as there are few Vietnamese options outside of downtown and...
