I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Domino's Pizza (Shelbourne locations) recently. I placed an order with them, and unfortunately, they failed to have it ready on time. This already disappointing situation took a turn for the worse when the store clerk ,who was also the pizza maker, argued with me. Here is a summary of the events that took place: I ordered a pizza around 5 pm and chose a future pick-up time of 6:30. At 5:10, I called the store and asked them to pick it up as soon as possible. They told me it would be ready at 5:50. I arrived at the store at 5:48, but the pizza was not ready. At 5:55 pm, I asked about the status of my pizza, but it had not even been made yet (even though I had previously asked about it in person). I paid for the pizza. At 6:10, I started asking more questions and the pizza maker began arguing instead of making the pizza. I was still in the store at 6:15, arguing with both the pizza maker and store manager.
Very disappointing experience despite ordering ahead, I ended up waiting for over 25 minutes in the store. They took no responsibility and instead argued that they were not busy when I called but got busy later. This was frustrating to hear, as it seemed like my order did not matter to them. To make matters worse, the person deliberately delayed making my pizza until I started asking other staff members about it. Overall, it was a disappointing experience due to their lack of accountability and willingness to make things right. Another customer even stepped in to explain that is not how you deal with customers. At no point did I raise my voice at any of the staff members. I just wanted them to understand the situation and why it’s frustrating. My family was waiting in the car, thinking I was running in for a...
Read moreWe ordered the pizza to be ready for 6:30pm. We then got there and sat in the store for an hour waiting for our pizza checking in every now 20 minutes or so to see where the pizza is( this is after we had paid for it). After the hour is up we decide to ask again just in case anything had changed in the last 20 minutes since we asked, only to find out that they had lost the order. We were given the option, store credit or redo the order. Of course, having waited for an hour we were very hungry so we waited for another 20 minutes for the pizza. Keep in mind we have now been waiting for an hour and thirty minutes for 2 large pizzas and cinnamon sticks (which we preordered). We finally get the order, or so we thought. Once they bring it to us there was no cinnamon sticks so we had to wait another 10 minutes for those. Now we finally get the full order and have yet to be offered anything for waiting so long. So we ask for any compensation and thankfully they give us store credit. All in all, the staff were really friendly the whole time and the situation was resolved, it was just sad to see a bastion of hope for university students like dominos, fall so far. So I guess moral of the story, don’t order from...
Read moreBy far this is the worst experience I have ever had as a customer. I placed my order, 2 large pizzas, by phone for pick up and was told it will be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived there 20 minutes later and their screen says my order was ready, but in fact it was NOT! I was told it is still in the oven and will be ready in 5 more minutes. I patiently waited for 10 minutes and then the guy comes to me with one pizza. I said I ordered 2 not 1, and if the order is not ready I would have to leave. So I left without the order after more than half an hour of placing the order.
They did not finish my order within their time limit, and did not offer my anything to compensate for my time. The place was full of staff who looked very disorganized and don't know what they are doing. I give them one star just for picking up the phone and taking my order. I will never go there again. Dominos, PLEASE hire...
