Sept 11, 2022 ordered breakfast feast to share but the sausage was extremely dry, west coast benedict was really delicious, and kid's whip cream strawberry waffles good. satisfying breakfast thank you I got a recommendation that all the benedicts great and lots selection which definitely true. price was reasonable but the rest of the menu still looked good. Never thought of brunch here nostalgic 15 year's later nothing had changed or decor inside though. I remember coming here for wings when I was in high school. The worst item was the orange juice. Nov 3rd, 2024 Just realized didn't post my ❤️ Sunday brunch. We tried something new, this used to be 1550s known for wing night and beers over 20yrs ago. The 🧇 was very crispy and the salmon benny 😋 was delicious with silky hollandaise sauce. Waitress provided great service and made sure coffee ☕️ kept on coming didn't even had to ask once for a refill. Nice atmosphere not busy and quiet with accessibility ♿️ requirements in place. Everything was perfect for someone whi not really a mornjng person and definitely food much better than last visit and menu better options as well

The remodel looked great. Flat-screen TVs were placed strategically around the room. Was busy on a Sunday afternoon, but had lots of staff that were very friendly, so speed of service wasn't an issue. An issue with a seemingly-forgotten ordered item and an incorrect bill were handled promptly and professionally. The price on the menu of an item I ordered was less than what came out on the bill, so be sure to double-check your bill before paying. The website also still isn't updated with this location, although things seem to be largely the same as their Langford location menu-wise.

Great family place as menu has lots to choose from. Wed night is wing night so make sure you don't mind a bit of a wait if you don't get there early. Staff are incredible as they treat you like a regular even if it is your first time stopping in. Owner is a great contributer to local sports team's as you can see when you look at all the photo's and trophy's in his establishment. I highly recommend you try 1550's .

Low quality pub, avoid it like the plague.

Went there on a weekend night and waited for 15 minutes while half the restraunt was empty. After finaly sitting down, I waited 10 more minutes just for any service. After that, took them 30 minutes to cook chicken wings and a sandwich. To add insult to injury, I was not given any utensils. When I asked for some, I was only given a spoon. After asking for 3 more times, I was finally given a set of dirty fork and knife. Best part was that they cleared all my food away while I went to the washroom for a minute.

The food was garbage just like the service. Their chicken wings were overdosed with salt just for "extra flavour". It felt like eating chicken shaped salt instead of actual chicken. Their sandwich bread was stiff, ham thin and cheese looked like it was expired.

Unsprisingly, their facility matched rest of the package in terms of dissapointment. The whole room was poorly lit, with some lights not even functioning. Their tables were sticky and seemed like haven't been wiped for a week. I won't get into how unsanitary the washroom was, seeing that it would make you puke...

If I could give half stars I'd up it to 3.5 because the ambiance and friendly service.

We decided to try this restaurant as the amount of reviews seemed positive, however it wasn't exactly our experience.

One person ordered the fajita wrap. It had a way too much lettuce and the sauce/cheese/guacamole was all stuffed into one end of the wrap. The server was suggesting the pan hash browns as I suspect this was near the end of brunch time and they wanted to use them up. They tasted good but the texture suggested they'd been sitting around being warmed for a while.

The 1lb $14 wings had little meat on them which made them dry and overcooked.

The chicken fingers had a soft breading which resembeled more of a Jane's pub style oven baked then deep fried. Fries were meh.

The Cajun club was decent. Thick sour dough and Cajun chicken with cream cheese. It was solid. Again, pan hash browns were just ok.

I hope we just had an off day.

But for $75 for all this I figure it was about $20 more than we should have paid for...
