La Cage — Restaurant in Saint-Hyacinthe

I had one of the worst restaurant experiences here. We were seated and did not get a server until about 10 min after that. We recieved water and then did not see our server for 15-20 min after that. Once we were able to get an order in, it was about over 30-40min before we got our food. Upon arrival we realized that our server brought the wrong meal, brought an item we didnt order, and I found hair in my food. The server (when she eventually came back) offered free ice cream (that we never got) and proceeded to blame all faults on the kitchen staff. The Good... Great receptionist and server. Great service. Popcorn was amazing. Really liked the rubis red draft beer. Fried Onion was the second best part of the meal after popcorn. Now the bad... Blitz Burger dry, over cooked, bland. Do not get the burgers. Chicken strips no flavour, but cooked well. The fries have a weird colour to them, red like sweet potatoes. They arrived cold with the Blitz Burger. The Ugly... The person taking your plates away notices the burgers left behind and doesn't ask why.

It's still la Cage, but fails with trying to do pub style...

Very slow service. Asked to have a TV changed to the Football game that they advertised on the website as playing but wasn't on any TV. Then with 15 minutes left in the game, someone changed the channel! Even though I had been asked once already if i was watching it (which i replied yes, don't change it) The service was so slow that it took 10 minutes to ASK someone to change it back, and the game was over before it was ever changed back... so I just left. And to boot, they also made a mistake on my bill and...
