A&W Canada — Restaurant in Saint-Jérôme

Terrible service, and not the first time. This particular A&W branch has chronic bad service. At the drive through, the woman taking orders told me that she spoke English. (We are from the US.) The line was very slow and when we got to the window they charged us for the order and then handed us the wrong drinks. Then they read the order and it was completely different from what we asked for. I repeated the order again several times to a different employee who told me that the first one actually does not speak English. The first transaction had to be canceled and we paid all over again. All of this took a long time. She said to park the car because we’d have to wait for them to make one of our sandwiches. We did not want to wait so we asked instead for sweet potato fries. She made us repeat our order about 8 times i wanted onion rings she gave me fries asked for chipotle mayo and didnt get that and my chicken fingers were half frozen the only thing that was right was my drink but it was warm as heck. J’ai été très déçu du service que j’ai reçu aujourd’hui vers 16h30 le 28 septembre 2024, nous avons reçu le service d’une gentille madame qui a mon avis travaillais seule à l’heure de pointe… nous étions au service au volent et cela a pris 25 minutes avant qu’on puisse recevoir notre commande. Petite info, nous étions les seuls dans la file. Quand nous avons reçu notre commande la madame avais l’air très essoufflé et quand j’ai remarquer qu’il nous manquais un item nous sommes aller à l’intérieur… Il y avais quelqu’un d’autre en cuisine qui était avec elle, et malheureusement cette personne ne faisais absolument rien alors qu’il y avais déjà 6 personnes en attentent en file dans le restaurant… Ça me désole de voir quelqu’un agir de cette manière alors que sa coéquipière fais tout le travail, elle prenait les commandes, donnais le service en clientèle et restais très aimable, et même s’acharnait à préparer TOUTES les commandes en cuisine pendant que l’autre en cuisine ne faisais absolument rien pour l’aider. Juste pour avoir des sauces ça la pris un autre 15 minutes avant qu’elle puisse s’adresser à nous. Je suis déçu de l’autre personne et en tant qu’employer en service en clientèle ça me dégoûte de laisser cette pauvre madame toute seule et regarder l’autre se "pogner le cul"… je me demande aussi pourquoi un samedi soir il n’y avait que DEUX personnes sur le plancher? Minimum de trois personnes auraient été acceptable et moins encombrant pour cette madame! Très très très déçu… en tout cas j’encourage cette madame très accueillante de faire de son mieux et de se plaindre de cette situation....
