A&W Canada — Restaurant in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

VERY disorganized group working today. The drive-through took almost 20 minutes. You could tell by the way the crew was talking to each other that they were disorganized. However, front staff was nice and polite; and the food was hot and good. Other A&W staff make drive through customers park to wait for their food if it takes long. I suggested that and they said they don’t do that. Unfortunately this makes the wait long. I could see the reflection in the mirror of the cars in front of me also waiting, and they seem displeased as well. Shaking their heads. Three times in a row. First two times served by manager at drive through. First time he never gave me my drink. Second time i ordered a mama burger but received the beyond meat burger and only realized halfway through cause it’s disgusting. Third time, today st 3:30pm, i order the cod burger and the man offers me my receipt with napkins and a paper that encourages me to use the app … which doesn’t even work in my phone … which i politely declined. The clerk got upset with me and claimed he’d get a $5000 fine if i didn’t take it ! I am not ever coming...

This has got to be the worst A&W in the world. I went there one late night and had a 2-Star experience. The staff worked at a leisurely pace even though there was nobody else there. The onion rings were cold with half-fried batter coating over the raw onions, underneath. I observed that they are quicker with their drive-through window. Definitely better...
