Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Saint John

I came to Saint John’s for the 506 Festival; I was one of the performers for this entertaining event. After joining the Arkells on stage for their headlining set, my DJ and I called this location to order some food. When we called, we told them our address and the lady on the line confirmed they could deliver to that address - the Delta hotel. She took our orders and told us it would arrive between 32 and 42 minutes. Over an hour later, they called me (of course, I’m thinking it’s arriving) only to be told that they can’t deliver to this location and to call the other location. I told the man we had this exact conversation with his staff an hour ago, and she confirmed the delivery and placed the order. I also asked why it took an hour to receive this call - we could have been trying to secure other food options had we known our food wasn’t even being made. The man on the phone said he would attempt to transfer our order to the other store, and stressed that he would call me back. 30 minutes later I called them back because I did not receive a call, and reached the lady I spoke to the first time. I told her what was going on and she said “oh yes. Sorry we can’t deliver to you. You have to call the other location. Nothing I can do.” No remorse, nothing. No mention of why nobody called me back or why the customer service is so horrible. I attempted to call the other location who never answered their phone and eventually closed. We starved that night, after providing entertainment for the community and having to travel to Halifax the next day to do the same thing. The customer service when dealing with this dominoes location was terrible, and nobody took ANY accountability for the number of mistakes they made before, during, and after ‘placing’ our order. 0/10 service I would not recommend...

I don’t know why there are so many good reviews. This is strictly regarding the product and not the people. Dan, supervisor, is super nice and was kind enough to supply me with a replacement pizza when I was not satisfied with the first one and the first time ordering from dominos. I’ve ordered from many pizza places but only recently tried Dominos for the first time. After having a second attempt at it I have to be honest and say that the dough is tasteless, toppings are lacking quality and quantity. The pizza seems smaller than it should be. It just suggests a very cheap product and I don’t know if this is specific to this Dominos but I certainly won’t risk trying any other Dominos. I feel it is important to provide this feedback because I bet Romano’s has made a thousand dollars just from my orders alone over the last 16 years. Getting new customers is difficult- business 101. So whatever Dominos has gotta do I hope they take this constructive criticism and change it up so you can get new customers. I don’t know what the other five star reviews are all...

The website I ordered from was very user-friendly, payment at checkout and online coupons super easy do as well.

The prices are alright, fairly decent given this inflation of the economy.

For the food: The Chicken Carbonara Pasta was delicious! Hot, fresh, not an undercooked or overcooked noodle in sight. 10/10 for that!

The pizza I had was good, crust done properly and toppings distributed well without the whole thing being smothered in too much cheese. 9/10.

The Garlic Parmesan Bites (32 piece) were absolutely awful. Barely seasoned pizza dough, tasted oily and even the seasoning lacked any sort of halfway decent flavour. 2/10, because the Marinara Sauce was the only redeeming factor here.

Over all, a decent experience, probably will order again to see what else is on the menu. Delivery was very fast and efficient, no complaints on how my order arrived at all. Text alert when my driver was arriving was super helpful so I could meet him at the lobby doors of...
