I have been a regular customer at Vitos, since Russell Street, Rothesay Avenue and now Peel Street. I am PROUD to be part of such a welcoming & positive atmosphere. The STAFF are "Second to None" in my books. They are so compassionate and caring, and they take pride in ensuring their customers are treated like family. I am a bit of a "Creature of Habit" so my review may not offer a great assortment of menu reviews, given my preference has for years been the Caeser Chicken with Caeser Salad and occassionally the Seafood Chowder that is only available on Fridays but often sells out. The Caeser Chicken Dish, a popular Speciality of Vitos, typically comes with Rice but pleasingly there is a option to have spaghetti, which I consistently opt to have. I thoroughly enjoy this dish and am pleased to say I look forward to having it every Friday when possible. The STAFF warm my ❤ and I feel BLESSED every Friday when I see them...VITOS truly is a FAMILY ORIENTED business that opens their doors to customers that Become FAMILY... To All of VITOS Staff - Who Serve & Those Behind The Scenes.. be PROUD of yourselves, you are a TRUE REPRESENTATION of what Family is about, and as a long standing customer I'm PROUD to be part of that Family Feel...

First time visitor from Ontario on July 30/25 and mostly disappointed with the service which resulted in not receiving exactly what we ordered with the pizza. Unfortunately, the new staff at the take out desk was new and she didn’t know prices and how to punch in our order. We asked twice for thin crust and didn’t received that. The combo was 5 toppings, I doubled checked these with her and still 2 toppings on the pizza were wrong or missing. Also, she didn’t inform us of the extra fee for jalapeños, until after we paid. Spaghetti was also not up to par compared to other Italian restaurants. For any restaurant, especially an established restaurant, the front-line staff are critical to customer service and ensuring quality products and orders are provided. It’s the management responsibility to train their staff!! It seemed she was not trained in the computer system, she didn’t know how to enter the orders/combos, and did not seem confident in customer service. She needed assistance a few times, and still had errors in our order. Luckily, there was not a line up, except one behind us. Consistency of product and service are key to a successful restaurant business and maintaining a good reputation . It’s not enough to go by...

Ordered a 12" pizza and a 9" Garlic Fingers with real bacon.....was told about 20 minutes....got there paid for the order and was told it would be a few minutes as it wasn't quite ready but she confirmed 12" with Garlic Fingers with Bacon (she looked bit confused), they then realized the printer wasn't working, so instead of telling me that they tried to rush to make the pizza (I overheard it as they were talking).....so I waited about another 15 minutes and then she said that the order was ready......she said sorry didn't have a name but was 12" and Garlic Finger with bacon....I said yes and went home....When I got home the pizza was not completely cooked, tried to pick up a piece and the toppings all slid off and the middle was terrible, so then opened up the Garlic Fingers and after it being confirmed twice about the bacon there was no bacon on it (but I paid for it).....so basically I got No apologize for Vito's screw up due to no paper and order not being done, then having them rush it to get it completed AND then having no bacon on the Garlic Finger.......this was a complete screw up for Vito's and completely...

Took my wife out on a random Thursday evening, multiple restaurants seemed ageist. We called a few of them who told us they had seats for us, and then turned us down upon arrival. We then found ourselves at Vito's and had an amazing dining experience with the most polite waitress we've ever had. She left to enjoy our meals and even put the leftovers away at the table for us. There was a live performer who played well known classics, and the full bar provided fantastic Dave's Mathews for us! The food was amazing, my wife decided to try the Signature Vito's Chicken pasta as recommended to her by the waitress, and I very much enjoyed my all meat pizza. We decided after this great experience to try their Ubake pizza and Garlic fingers. The custom pizza was ready for pickup within 20 minutes and the takeout process was fast and simple. We did attempt to place the order on their website but unfortunately the website wouldn't accept our method of payments, but after calling and placing the order we had no issues and was definitely worth the trip!

My wife and I went here for a quick dinner before a show. She ordered a chicken souvlaki and salad and I had the "Vitolio". Her's was okay. Mine was odd -- penne pasta with a mixture of sliced olives, a little spinach, and raw onion. It was like a warm pasta salad with a very strong olive and onion taste. Odd. But very friendly wait staff. Seems like their recent renovation only went as far as the decor -- same old Vito's menu. Popular though-- it was packed at 6pm on a Wednesday.

Absolutely wonderful! The establishment obviously has some years to it, and it's quite charming. The staff were warmingly friendly from the second we walked in. We all had some version of pizza, and each one was delicious. I'm inclined to side with the other positive reviews, though admittedly we only had a small sampling of the menu. Also, try the cheesecake. You won't be disappointed (unless you don't like cheesecake, in which case you probably shouldn't try the cheesecake 😁).
