First off, we ordered so much food. Like so much. We just wanted to try everything as we really love their sister restaurant Primi Piatti, and let me tell you, we were not disappointed and we WILL be back soon. We tried Rockefeller oysters for the first time and HOLY COW!!!! I am not an oyster person but these were unbelievable. A must order. The yellowfin tuna sashimi, absolutely unreal. Bone marrow with added beef tartare on top? Honestly blew me away. The octopus, some of the best I’ve ever had. The mashed potato, delicious. Caesar brussel sprouts? Also delicious. It was consistently amazing bites, probably anything on the menu will be just as good as anything I ordered, but you really need to try either the lamb chops, or the Chilean Sea bass. Just trust me!!! We went on a Sunday and it was their first Sunday open so it was understandably slower than usual in there. Not the service, just the restaurant wasn’t packed, which I personally love. Service was great and fast by Justin and Enrique, nothing short of amazing. Drinks were flowing and delicious. Prices were high, but the quality of food and service made it completely worth the price to us. I can’t wait for my next visit to Cru. Thank you guys for your service and incredible...

It was a last minute decision to have dinner here and I'm glad we did. Upon entering the restaurant, there was this air of modern elegance and was greeted by one of the wait staff, where he offered to take our coats.

Since we arrived at 5:30PM, it was relatively empty (on a Sunday), so we were offered a table for 2 near the windows, which offered a nice view.

The staff was attentive and overall provided a good service. The time in-between courses was just long enough for us to have a decent chat and rest.

Most of the dishes were full of flavour and was well-cooked.

The two downsides I could think of, was that the waiter didn't really inform us that the main dishes were pretty big and we did not manage to finish our main course. Having said that, they were nice enough to pack the leftovers nicely (still awesome as a leftover lunch).

The other was when I rang last minute (at 5PM) to make a reservation and whoever answered the phone seemed unfriendly and quick to hang-up without asking for a name or saying goodbye (I understand that it's quiet, but still..). Not going to dock points for this, but something that could be improved on.

Overall, I definitely recommend this place for any special occasion or if you decide to...

I found Cru to be a little overrated. While I understand that seafood is expensive, the only thing worth the price is the oyster platter.

We were a group of people and none of us were impressed with the taste of our plates. Some even returned their plates.

We waited 1hr to receive our main course after ordering. Although we were a group of people, we had ordered entries as well and I did not expect to wait that long for a plate of pasta or tartar. I can't complain about the waiter who was super friendly, however he never apologized for the delay and had no sense of urgency, which made it look like this wait time is just the standard for the restaurant.

The place has potential but I don't think any of us will be returning...
