I have never written a rewire, but I believe it's necessary to do so for this occasion. Generally, the food is good. Despite this, the staff acted in an unprofessional manner. We felt extremely disrespected by the waiter. We weren't familiar with Indian foods, so we asked him to explain some of them, but he didn't provide enough information. We ordered something from the menu and thought it was onion rings. When he brought our order, we realized it was onion bread and we ordered by mistake. Neither of us said anything, but we asked if onion rings were also available. But he said if we think we are in a McDonald's instead of saying politely that they don't serve this here. Also, we ordered a spicy dish and we thought he put more spice than we asked for. We made sure that was true because in the end, when we wanted to pay he asked us if we enjoyed the amount of spice with a mocking smile. So I think he did it on purpose! I don't...
Read moreFood was very good and authentic but the experience felt a little rushed and underwhelming. Staff is missing attention to details.
For example; we were sitting for almost 10-minutes before a waiter approached our table to greet us. It almost felt like we were intruding. After waiting all this time, I had to uncork my bottle of wine myself and pour our wine. There was no attempt at any point to serve our wine throughout the night. Are we really expected to leave a tip for service?
Food was served as it was ready in the kitchen which means that some of you will have meals while others might not. They should make a better effort to serve the table as a unit to make the experience a little better for all.
I really like the food here and the quality of the ingredients is excellent but I would recommend you take-out and enjoy this meal at home. No reason to stay for the experience and...
Read moreOriginally from the Maritimes, we were traveling to Montréal and surrounding areas. We were just outside the city when we were looking for a vegetarian place to eat at. My boyfriend loves indian food, and I have had never tried it before so we decided to try out this place. It was the best decision we could have made! The staff was extremely friendly, Alisha even helped us pick out a combo that catered to our vegetarian needs and let us switch out a couple dishes too at no extra charge! The naan bread was made fresh and was even hot when we received it. It was all in all one of the best restaurant experiences we had during our trip and an amazing first time experience with indian food for me. We are now driving 12 hours back home, with our Moghel Tandoori leftovers in our backseat, and we can’t wait to finish them! We will definitely be back next time that we’re...
