Read moreThe service was incredibly slow. Great when they were at our table, but every step took ages, whether it was getting bread to start, bringing appetizers, bringing the main meal, getting a dessert order in, bringing dessert, asking for our bill, and bringing the bill. The food was just OK, in my opinion (I got the spaghetti bolognese, and my table mates shared a calamari starter which they said was delicious but it was not to my taste). Two French speaker groups that came 10 minutes after us were served significantly more quickly with a smile, and left 10 minutes before us. On the other hand, if you want the authentic cultural experience of Quebec nationalism and how it manifests as racism towards an English speaking brown person, this...
